He should wait until they reach 60, one way or another (Stevens, the comedian, Snow joining the O admin, etc.); then he should switch parties immediately.

Democrats give Lieberman a slap on the wrist

We noted yesterday the irony and political courage
of Senate Democrats who insisted on a secret ballot for this vote but
who won’t extend that right to American workers in……

This is one of those cases in which I hope the Republican party can deal with the realities of Connecticut politics and find a way to back Lieberman when he stands for re-election. His wisdom and judgment on issues of great importance would be difficult to replace.

Unequal Time

The nutroot community wanted Joe Lieberman punished for his “disloyalty” in criticizing Obama and backing McCain for President. If you don’t fall in line they want you put away. Looks like they’ll have one more thing to whine …

Maybe Senate Democrats can remember that vise when they consider Card Check.

Two sets of rules. One for the aristocracy, the other for hoi polloi.

Senate Dems’ votes need to be kept secret because those casting them are important individuals. Wal-Mart greeters and cashiers and the like are interchangeable and easily replaceable with any other set of organisms.

That’s what Card Check really is. Ruling-class Dems view “workers” on the slime mold model – cells attach to each other and form a membrane. Only the collective entity counts to them. Employees aren’t people, really, they’re just politically-useful biological units.

Sunny and, well, sunny. Haven’t seen rain in about two months. About $500,000 dollars away from being a third-world country. Home of the Fairness Doctrine Fairy, Senator Bingaman and the dumbest population, current person is a transplant, in the nation. New Mexico.

At least he is still in there. I still laugh about Global Warming. Almost 10:00 here in Ca. and is already 85 degrees! Will gladly accept snow, or some rain. Send it UPS thanks!

The problem is the netroots have a hard time remembering more than a year or two in the past at a time. To them, 1994 has no meaning because THEY WON THE #$^%#*%$@! ELECTION FOR OBAMA, MAN, so they’re not going to take Barack, Reid or Pelosi caving in on things like Joe Lieberman, Hillary Clinton or major tax increases opposed by the Blue Dog Democrats with much grace or civility.
