Palin is the de facto threat to the press agenda

Bingo. When conservative ideas are presented fairly and objectively alongside leftist ideas, in America they will win every time. Preventing that is what the press regards as their Job #1, and the best way to prevent that is to destroy any charismatic conservative.

There’s really only one things you have to understand about journalism in America… that it has nothing to do with journalism.
The press is the real “party” we have to defeat.

Palin has the basic quality’s that the founding fathers of this country had. GUTS,INSTINCT and PRINCIPLES. Something that most of these politicians checked at the door on their way into Washington. I really have to laugh at the people that say, “she isn’t smart enough” or “not ready”.
That goes along with the same John Kerry thinking that, “only dummies enlist in the military”… and then fly $30 million dollar jets, because they’re just not smart enough to make it outside in the real world.
The thinking in this country has got to change!!

I saw the press conference and I also listened to her address to the conference. She obviously went to great lengths to express that she is just one of many. She did not seem to appreciate at all that the press was focused on her. Any criticism of Palin on this is misplaced. Maybe they were actually being critical of the press?

Sarah is the new “straight-talk express” and the old guard had just better get used to it. She has proven over and over again that she can take everything they dish out and not only remain standing but keep on fighting. I think she has decided, like Princess Diana did, that if the press is going to follow her around, she may as well make it count and promote what she believes in. And she obviously believes, lives and breathes conservative principles. She is a tough chica and I have nothing but admiration for her. Why Obama, who has yet to have a tough press interview let alone face a serious crisis, is deemed ready on day one rather than Sarah, who has fought a hostile media, Hollywood and politial elite on both sides and come out swinging, will always remain a mystery to me.

Perry is my governor and I have never seen a more slick, manufactured, plastic politician in my life (well, maybe Obama). He is a charter member of the Good Ol’ Boys club and he is just miffed that Sarah not only hasn’t bothered to try to get in, she is starting her own.

Sarah Palin recently completed a run for the office of Vice President. That makes her a pretty big deal right now.

If YOU want to be center stage, do something similarly noteworthy, and suffer insults, slander, and ridicule on the national stage for a few months.

The press chases Palin for two reasons, first, it obviously sells, and second they may want to take her out politically

This means there is a public appetite for Plain news. That comes because McCain kept her out of his spotlight during the campaign. They did not make Palin commercials which would have had huge impact, and they did not allow Palin to do live interviews which would have revealed the real Palin to the public. Strange insn’t it?

Palin has a charisma that is undeniable aside from politics

The press’ presonal obsession is fear, not love. They do not fear the other governors. The other governors do not threaten to captivate anything higher than an earthworm or a lobbyist. The press smells something about Palin and they are trying to figure it out so they can suppress it

Palin is the de facto threat to the press agenda

That is the real truth. They fear her because they sense she possesses the power to motivate the public.

Has anyone been paying attention to what Sarah Palin actually SAID? She said that now is not the time to focus on 2012, but on 2010, and that Republican Governors need to focus on conservative policies to resolve economic problems in their states (implying that they need to blunt the effects of the Obama administration), and winning as many as possible of the 36 Governor’s races in 2010. Does that sound like someone running for President in 2012, or someone running for re-election as Governor in 2010?

To paraphrase our eloquent Vice-President-Elect: Mark my words, and gird your loins! Our brilliant 44-year-old former VP candidate will be tested. She will be attacked, and some people won’t agree with her or understand what she is saying and doing. But the more she is attacked by the media, and the more people focus on her and listen to her, there will be a BACKLASH, in her favor!

Whether or not she is the best Republican candidate for 2012 remains to be seen. A lot can happen between now and then, and there may be other candidates better able to contrast him/herself with the record of the Obama Administration, which no one can foresee for now. But if people focus their attention on Sarah Palin, she will be able to refine her message, which will make more and more sense to voters they watch Obama in action (or inaction).
