I recommend that Obama expand the card check program into the political election system. That would provide the necessary “checks and balances” for youth flirting with any type of socially destructive libertarian ideas.

I’m sure his friends in the Unions can help push this through after they receive all that extra funding from the car industry bailout.

2. Create bigger government
3. Gut the military
4. Waste money on “social projects” and this is one of them

Whether “We the People” allow these things is the real question.

They probably will. About 52% of “We the People” are weak passive sheep looking for handouts and wouldn’t speak up if trucks were parked on their feet.

But what are these guys actually going to do? Go door to door with pointed sticks picking up trash? Or go door to door with the same sticks registering Democrats? Or, go door to door asking what your mayor can do for you? Or telling you what your mayor says you now have to do for him.

If that happened, it would be more productive than the WPA project I observed as a child. That project consisted of rebuilding a section of road next to grandparents house, tearing it up and rebuilding at least a total of three times while I was aware of the work. The purpose of the project seemed to use as much macadam as possible and to make the road unusable indefinitely.

I seem to have trouble concentrating these last nine days…………

Ed, I wonder how many of these bad ideas are smoke screens. Offend as many as possible with just talk about them and then never follow through. Would people then be more willing to accept his less noxious sounding agenda? Is there much risk in floating ideas in order to trigger just a lot of huffing and puffing?

I think you nailed it: Clinton was the Master of Smokescreening, and used it constantly to ‘test’ ideas ( most of which bombed and were never adopted, or a much less odious version was put forth )

Obam has no original ideas, so he uses Clinton, Wright, Ayers, etc

Let’s keep quiet and let these fools TRY TO put this policy into place.

Let’s just be sure to make our reps understand that they MUST rise up IMMEDIATELY, once(if??) it becomes general knowledge.

The less one has, I would imagine, the more one would value their labor and their time. And if you’re used to getting nothing but unearned hand-outs from the government, suddenly finding yourself serving them for no particular reason and for no tangible reward would be quite a shock.

I imagine the punishment meted out to those who refuse to take part in this nonsense would be monetary. A lot of wealthier kids will get out of this and not feel as resentful toward Obama.

I’m confused about his intentions, seeing as we already have a National Guard and armed forces. I’m confused why someone with such an express distrust of America wants to use the American government to create another force to “defend” it.

I agree that we already have a national defence force, called the National guard. His problem is that the guard is controlled by the state governors, not him. Our armed forces are not allowed to be used against civilians. That could be changed, but at what risk? A national or civilian Defense force would be under his control. The name itself does not sound sinister, but when you consider it in the light of Marxism, it rings true. Equipping and funding his armed force would be easy if he disbanded the National Guards and redistributed the funding and equipment of downsized Armed forces to it. Indoctrination of youth through his youth corps would insure a loyal armed force that could be used against the citizens who oppose him and to maintain control. With everything considered that he has stated, it looks like they intend for the Democrat party to RULE for a long time, if not in fact himself.
