Actually, I don’t recall that–I only recall that their people can get in our faces and argue with us.

Nevertheless, I always want my President to be great. It’s just that so very few of them are. They might be great if they bothered to read the Constitution, or if they thought it actually meant something…

They are trying to use the possible rivals in 2012 to continue the theme from the anonymous leaks also. They are asking all of the other Govs about Sarah instead of themselves to get them annoyed at questions about Sarah. Now some “unnamed” Govs are being quoted not endorsing her strongly. Well, could that be because some of them think they are going to run themselves? They are still playing games with all Republicans, turning one against the other on TV. The media is trying to turn this conference into 2012 backbiting, and ignoring the real stuff going on.

Can’t say I’m suprised. They will use her for ratings one day, then stab her in the back the next day.

This isn’t a christian country contrary to popular belief – and bible bashing freaks a whole lot of people out.

I’m with ya, man, if politicians talk the way people from their own area actually do, it’s a dead giveaway that they are morons.

I far prefer the sonorous, brain-melting, coma-inducing tenor of a guy like JFKerry, or the hip urban patois of The Grand Messiah Obarfa: “Hey wassup Deeetroyt!”

You betchas and oh gollys are indicative of flyover inbred hickness….we don’t have the sauve sophistication of the Manhattan elites. Sorry about that.

There is an anti-elitism strain in the Republican party that is as extreme as the moonbat tendency.

I like the woman and respect her, but on prime time you can’t deny she came across as a dimwit. That is not to be celebrated – for one it doesn’t play well with the electorate.

There is another way. Fred Thompson, like him or loathe him, somehow managed to come across as articulate and genuine. Not bad for an actor eh? And they call him lazy – she seemed to make no effort and her public showing was simply embarrassing.

Haley Barbour that there has been a feeling among some GOP governors gathered in Miami that Palin has been sucking up all the media oxygen.

In another shift, Palin, who had been slated to take questions for 20 minutes or so, took just four reporter queries before Texas Gov. Rick Perry ended the news conference.

“We were running behind schedule,” Perry said”

If you ask me, we would be much better off as a nation if we repealed the 17th amendment. That was the wrong turn we took long ago.

I could give a crap about the social stuff. We can undo most of it in 4 years. He is a fool on the social side, but he better get a sobering wake up call with Presidential daily briefings or we are all screwed.

What is most striking to me is, Sarah Palin has this week become the new face and voice of the Republican Party. I happen to think that is a huge plus for us, but time of course will tell.

Seriously, I go away to earn a living for a few hours and a very active Sarah thread pops up and I almost miss it…
I say she’s already running in 2012. She WILL be ready at that time, and yes, youbetcha a communications coach is no doubt part of that plan. I just hope she doesn’t let them coach the Sarah out of Sarah. That’s why so many of we conservative, well-educated but middle American moms think she rocks!
