Al-Arabiya: Let’s rape all the Israeli women

System rape is defined as an act of genocide or crime against humanity by the UN, and one might expect a call for that tactic to come from the most lunatic of radical Islamist terrorist leaders. Instead, we hear it from an Egyptian lawyer — a female — on al-Arabiya, with the show host nodding his head in agreement:
As Omri at Mere Rhetoric notes, she’s not just excusing whatever cases occur as an inevitable result of the so-called occupation. She wants all Arabs to use rape as a tactic to drive Israelis out of Israel.
Al-Arabiya operates out of Dubai, UAE, and is heavily subsidized by the Saudis — two American allies. Just for the record.

Apparently, neither adultery, rape, or sex with an infidel is frowned upon in that demonic cult.

Two Bush allies. They’re definitely not friends of America.

What! I thought with Obama’s election that peace had settled across the planet. Even yesterday, I saw a young men with a messenger bag that said “Obama, Son of God”. (This last sentence is true.)

This post is inaccurate.
She called for the sexual harassment of Israeli women. She said rape was too far (not because it was bad) but because it would subject the Arabs to the law. It’s sexual harassment she is specifically calling for.

“rape the land”?
Israel has turned a wasteland into a productive nation.

Nice folks. Classy. We should sit down and talk to them. I’m sure they’re just like us. Except for the bombing and rape part.

She is kind of a hybrid between Code Pink and NOW…why do I get the feeling you could substitute the words Israel or Zionist with Sarah Palin, and have that same conversation on MSNBC or most any other news station.

And Europe is busy trying to expand the EU to include Arab countries. I expect Europe to be part of the caliphate before I retire in 25 years. Political Correctness and multiculturalism are the poison killing Western civilization.

I read it in JPost or Haaretz this morning. This is a deliberately inflammatory cut out of context. Which is fine I suppose, but it’s not accurate.

Grue in the Attic on November 13, 2008 at 4:41 PM
Funny how the newscaster questioned whether rape was appropriate simply because it might lead to “questioning”. Still, the lawyer never actually called for rape. Not that she is not in favor of it, she is in favor of killing every israeli alive, I’m sure, but this clip does not document a call for mass rape.
keep the change on November 13, 2008 at 4:42 PM
Nope, was INN. Here’s the link.
(IsraelNN.com) A female Egyptian lawyer has recommended that Arab men begin sexually harassing Jewish women as a means of forcing Jews to leave “Arab countries.” Egypt, which signed a peace treaty with Israel in 1979, is perceived among Western nations as a moderate Arab nation where secular Arabs are a majority.
According to a translation provided by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), which released the clip, Al-Imam specified, however, that her “resistance” plan did not include rape.
“No. Sexual harassment… In my view, the [Israeli women] do not have any right to respond. The resistance fighters would not initiate such a thing, because their moral values are much loftier than that. However, if such a thing did happen to them, the [Israeli women] have no right to make any demands, because this would put us on equal terms – leave the land so we won’t rape you. These two things are equal,” she said.
Spirit of 1776 on November 13, 2008 at 4:42 PM
I second that notion.
What is funny, is even Balaam’s ass figured this out – even if these folks and Balaam didn’t.

Bishop on November 13, 2008 at 4:42 PM
Actually, play the video and read the subtitles. She does say that “raping the land is the equivalent of raping the women”. But then the commentator asks if that permits the rape of women because that would cause the men to be questioned. She then says no, she does not want the men to be questioned.
jim m on November 13, 2008 at 4:43 PM
Regardless, I’m not in anyway trying to give cover for this outrageous policy. Merely trying to add accuracy to the charge.
Spirit of 1776 on November 13, 2008 at 4:43 PM
Is it just that her English is bad then, because even in the source you’re quoting, she equates these women staying there with them being raped.

Interviewer: Does this also include rape?
Nagla Al-Imam: No.
[from the transcript]
Spirit of 1776 on November 13, 2008 at 4:45 PM
It’s unclear from the clip whether she is saying:
1) they should not rape because their authority will be questioned or
2) if they do rape she doesn’t want their authority questioned.
Headed for the link now.

Just like the Nazis did 70 years ago, first reduce a people to “vermin” status, in the mind of the public, and then you can matter-of-factly treat them like vermin with little public resistance. Given a steady diet of one-sided propaganda, the human mind is just as malleable to evil as it is to good. Control of information is what every evil tyrant uses to great advantage. It works.
RBMN on November 13, 2008 at 4:47 PM
What a freaking Nazi.
CP on November 13, 2008 at 4:47 PM
As much as we can’t stand these arabs, and know what they would do if allowed, we can’t make up statements that weren’t there in the clip.
keep the change on November 13, 2008 at 4:47 PM
It’s likely not, to be honest.
I assume you mean the translators English is bad.
She is saying, hypothetically, if raped they shouldn’t complain anyway because they are raping the land. She making a moral equivalency argument but not calling for it.
Spirit of 1776 on November 13, 2008 at 4:47 PM
Look closely at her hands, she has her fingers crossed.
If you pause the vid at the 1:02 mark you can clearly see the translation as, “Yes, all Israeli women should be subject to rape.”
Bishop on November 13, 2008 at 4:48 PM
Sexual harassment to these people is not what we consider sexual harassment. They will not just be making off color remarks. They are not civilized. IMHO
thomasaur on November 13, 2008 at 4:49 PM
So they should just use the threat of rape? And they have no right to respond??
How about they respond by popping them a new blow hole right in the middle of their foreheads?
BigWyo on November 13, 2008 at 4:49 PM
Whether it’s advocating rape (seems so with the tape) or driving them out under the threat of rape (literally quoted in the article), it’s barbaric.
Please also note her attitude that they have no place anywhere in ‘Palestine’.
So much for the two state solution in her eyes.
She’s plenty clear to me. I don’t think that she has an ounce of concern if all Israelis dropped dead. It would probably make the whole job of taking over everything so much easier.
GeeWhiz on November 13, 2008 at 4:49 PM

Love the hair. Dressed like that in Egypt, she’s lucky if she doesn’t already have some experience with the whole concept of “rape.”
As to raping the land being the equivalent of raping a woman, would building a house on land, or running a sewage pipe through a piece of land be the moral equivalent of doing either of those things to a woman?
morganfrost on November 13, 2008 at 4:53 PM
Building greenhouses and producing food for the region is similar only in that the Joooooos fertilize the land and make it produce.
Obama supporters are unhinged!
TheSitRep on November 13, 2008 at 4:55 PM
Cool. I feel like I’m on LGF.
The fact that we even have to address this issue is depressing and sad. Reality bites.
More importantly:
1) Have the Obamas picked out a puppy yet?
2) When do I get my check?
Mr_Magoo on November 13, 2008 at 4:55 PM
Funny
AmericanUnderground on November 13, 2008 at 4:55 PM
She’s saying they should harass because in many Arab countries there are no laws against it.
Hence she sees it as a new form of resistence through something that isn’t illegal there.

Remember however that Islam is “a religion of peace”.
What I do not understand is how the Israeli’s can be so stupid as to think these people can be rationally bargained with?

Sounds more painful for the raper than the rapee.
connertown on November 13, 2008 at 5:10 PM
I see what you are saying, but to even bring it up as an equivalent seems bizarre to me. I mean, how many people would say something to the effect, “I hate how these tourists pollute our beaches, if we raped their women they wouldn’t have a right to complain?”
Renae on November 13, 2008 at 5:11 PM
I have seen this gal posted before, she has the same schtick which is why the interviewer brought up “rape”. She stops short, kind of like some of the rabid liberals stopping short of killing Bush, but you know that don’t say that because it would be too controversial…same with her, she won’t outright say it, but her theme is the same…”it is like raping the land”.
Honey, we know you would like to stick a hot poker up the ???? of every Joooooo woman.

Sounds to me like a ‘nudge, nudge, wink, wink,’ sort of suggestion. She seemed more concerned that they might be questioned than she was about the morality of it. She in fact justified the moral equivalence outright, so yeah I do think she was suggesting rape.
sharrukin on November 13, 2008 at 5:21 PM
Don’t forget that these are the same folks who stone their rape victims to death. I know that seems out of context but trying to make sense of these folks is futile.

In all fairness though, Israeli women are hot.
Most of them also know how to handle firearms.
These “brave” Arab moderates might get more than they bargained for.
Mr. Joe on November 13, 2008 at 5:33 PM
Exactly, she made the case rape would be justifiable while not calling for it directly. IMO, she planted the seed insidiously which is equally horrific and certainly no less dangerous.
msmveritas on November 13, 2008 at 5:37 PM
This post is inaccurate.
She called for the sexual harassment of Israeli women. She said rape was too far (not because it was bad) but because it would subject the Arabs to the law. It’s sexual harassment she is specifically calling for.
I think you are talking about the part where she said not to expose them.
You know what? It doesn’t matter. It has been demonstrated time and time again that there are enough people who, when given a little bit of power, stretch it as far as they can possibly take it, and in this instance I don’t think I’m being unreasonable when I say many hear “sexually harass them” and take that to mean “rape them.” While there are many who will abhor this, there also will be many who will find it acceptable, and will manage to have it given a pass, just like so much else has.
I don’t think you meant it in an offensive way, but “it’s ‘only’ sexual harassment she’s calling for” is a green light for worse when said by those in or with power or influence.

…”these people” hits one of your triggers? Were you, as I was, dowsed to near idiocy by the attempts by the self-appointed “freedom of approved speech” crowd and their talk of “code words”?
…if we can’t connect “these” with “people”, can we instead substitute “morons”, “barbarians”, “weasels” or “scumbags” for “people”…because, for this advocacy of rape as a means of revenge, the insistance of some of ‘em on female genital mutilation as their own private cultural distinctive, and the general habit among ‘em of treating their women as prostitutes in county lockdown, referring to these people as “people” is too charitable for my tastes….
…and there, I’ve gone and used “these people”…shame on me….
