Al-Arabiya: Let’s rape all the Israeli women

System rape is defined as an act of genocide or crime against humanity by the UN, and one might expect a call for that tactic to come from the most lunatic of radical Islamist terrorist leaders. Instead, we hear it from an Egyptian lawyer — a female — on al-Arabiya, with the show host nodding his head in agreement:
As Omri at Mere Rhetoric notes, she’s not just excusing whatever cases occur as an inevitable result of the so-called occupation. She wants all Arabs to use rape as a tactic to drive Israelis out of Israel.
Al-Arabiya operates out of Dubai, UAE, and is heavily subsidized by the Saudis — two American allies. Just for the record.

Puritan, I’m not up for an argument and I tried to communicate that it’s not PC stifling of free speech that I’m after. And no it doesn’t hit a “trigger” because I get why you are so angry. As I said, it upsets me as well. I don’t think you will ever know how much it bothers me and how many things I agree with you about–I’m with you that this creature’s behavior is despicable and barbaric and all the other words you used.
But there is also a reality that not all of “them” treat “their women as prostitutes in county lockdown.” Who is “them”? Arabs? Muslims? The people who advocate such sickening behavior (which for you might be only some Arabs or some Muslims)? Every so often the lack of distinction nags at me just a wee bit and I want to mention it, but of course I have to walk on eggshells to do it, because of your anger at me saying something about it. I really do get your anger (I find myself saying for the 20th time), but every so often I would like have some sort of certainty that people like me aren’t being included in that lumping you just made, simply because I share a background with them.
Maybe it’s just surprising to you that someone like me lives here and totally embraces your values?

Hey, rape is justified in the Koran, so it has to be good right? It’s a cultural thing, don’t you know. Celebrate diversity. Who are we to judge. All religions are equal.
Well if you believe any of that crap, you justify evil. These people are still in the 7th century mentally, and unless Islam is reformed (is that possible?) it will remain a scourge on society.

I just finished a book on the Arab media and it was very interesting. After reading book I’m not surprised by this at all. Anyone intersted it was called (Un)civil War of Words. I can’t remember who wrote it. It talked a lot about the politics behind the stations and why it is so easy and beneficial to attack America and Isreal even if they are our allies. It actually has very little to do with us at all.

My company has satellite offices in the UAE and I have gone there on business. One of my colleagues there is Muslim (I am Jewish) and we got on very well. He is intelligent, fun-loving and open-minded.
Then, a non-Jewish colleague who was there had a big discussion with him about a variety of things, including the elections. He relayed my Muslim colleague’s surpirse that Obama won because Jews controlled the media and banks. Heartache.
But it let’s you know the mindset. These are not extremists living in caves. These are ordinary, everyday peole - intellectuals. And this is their attitude. They constitute the majority of the 1 billion or so Muslims on the planet.
We need DARPA to develop the mass-amnesia weapon. Then we swipe all the korans…..

JJ If a person a is a true Muslim, they are an extremist by definition. Living in a cave is not the metric. Following the Koran is. Evil will use any suitable propaganda to justify its actions.
Their media puts out the propaganda that Jews control the media and the banks here and they we are all millionaires that oppress Muslims, but that is a SYMPTOM not the CAUSE.

How I really despise the use of that phrase. A religion that was based upon conquest, spread by the sword and war, and is still the center of most of the violence related to religion, is somehow a religion of peace in the realm of political correctness.
