Ayers: Oh, by the way, Obama and I actually are “family friends”

posted at 9:05 pm on November 13, 2008 by Allahpundit

Via Ace. The bad news? Obama was lying to us when he dismissed Ayers at the debate as merely “a guy who lives in my neighborhood.” The good news? We already knew that, thanks to Axelrod and Mayor Daley.

Anyway, belated confirmation.

“We had served together on the board of a foundation, knew one another as neighbors and family friends, held an initial fund-raiser at my house, where I’d made a small donation to his earliest political campaign,” he writes.

But right-wing commentators tried to use those connections to smear Obama, he says.

“Obama’s political rivals and enemies apparently saw an opportunity to deepen a dishonest narrative about him, that he is somehow un-American, alien, linked to radical ideas, a closet terrorist, a sympathizer with extremism,” Ayers wrote.

This turd will be on Good Morning America tomorrow to hawk his book, if you can believe it. Will Diane Sawyer think to ask him how friendly the families were? Or, more importantly, what he learned from his epochal meeting of the minds recently with Reverend Wright? A rich trove of video treasure awaits us in the morning, my friends. Exit question: Has anyone queried The One on what sorts of crimes one would have to commit to lose their coveted “family friend” status? I realize questions of basic personal judgment are inappropriate on “dishonest narrative” grounds, but I’m curious nonetheless.

It was McCains job to frame an effective argument about Ayers and Wright and he didn’t do it, despite loads of incriminating well researched information readily available from The Corner.
And when the Cuda tried she got hammered by blue-on-blue friendly fire.

Will Sawyer bother to ask Ayers about him raping his male and female leftist accolates 40 years ago? Or his current “lover” loving the Manson family sticking a fork in the pregnant woman they killed?

No and no. Wouldn’t fit through her collagened lips.

Oh but kind sir, I am not referring to the MoveOn, dKos, or those impressionable youth’s in my statement. They are unfortunately lost until they get a good paying job and then transfer over to the dark side (that would be us, by the way).

I’m referring to those who started out this election cycle actually undecided, and were swooned by the promises of “everything will be fixed” and pushed over the edge by the financial crisis, which by and large wasn’t reported accurately by the MSM to be the fault of Democratic policies dating back to Jimmy Carter. It’s not that they are stupid, they just didn’t know any better. The shell game is going to end soon and someone is going to be caught with a place to sit when the music ends.

Democracy is the most vile form of government… democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention: have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property: and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.

Let the media and the Obama administration fawn over each other and make fools out of themselves. Obama will shoot himself in the foot on a regular basis. It will be fascinating to watch the spin and the fallout. But in the meantime…………….

We have four years to quietly and diligently put together the most forceful and the largest coalition of voting blocks to take this thing back as soon as possible. We need to stay involved and revolutionize this party.

Let the left-wing voters, congressmen, and senators pound their chests, and try and kick the dust up. In 2012, step aside libs the adults will be back to clean up your mess.

I think Ayers would have been interesting to know. You never know how someone is personally. Historically, he makes for some pretty interesting conversation. I wonder if he’s happy. He doesn’t seem to feel guilty. Not that those things are mutually exclusive, but I can’t help but to wonder……about all of that.

Have you noticed the level of arrogance and ego that surrounds Obama and his cronies? Just as soon as the election was over, all the gloves came off, all the rats skittered out from their hiding places. Ayers has probably had this interview scheduled for weeks- win or lose. Ayers, Wright, Pflager- they’ve all cackled like hyenas this week. It probably hasn’t even occured to their massive ego’s that for them to be publicly speaking about Obama, might be a problem for Obama’s ah….credibility. Or what’s left of his credibility, anyway.

Ayers and the Weather Underground were busy rioting and blowing things up about forty years ago. He probably figures he’s free to do his revisionist history because there will be many who are about 50 or under won’t care or have a clue as to the reality of who he was and is.

Think he’s changed? Phyllis Schlafly had an article last week, Teaching “Social Justice” in Schools, in which she said:

David Horowitz of the California-based David Horowitz Freedom Center says that social-justice teaching is “shorthand for opposition to American traditions of individual justice and free-market economics.” He says it teaches students that “American society is an inherently ‘oppressive’ society that is ’systemically’ racist, ’sexist,’ and ‘classist’ and thus discriminates institutionally against women, nonwhites, working Americans, and the poor.”

Sol Stern of the Manhattan Institute describes Professor Ayers as one of the leaders in “bringing radical social-justice teaching into our public school classrooms.” Ayers argues in his books and articles that “social-justice teaching” should be injected into various curriculum subjects.

Ayers is a very powerful force behind the leftist attitude of our youth. Part of the conservative momentum movement is going to have to be teaching the constitution and American values to our kids at home. They are NOT going to get it outside the home. Unless we do not have elections in 2012 and Obama follows the Hugo Chavez method of election for life (or possibly the Putin method.) With substantial majorities in both houses it might be necessary to have everything in place before the 2010 election. Perhaps this is what Biden was referring to as Obama’s response (martial law, shut down opposition media, suspend elections due to ‘national emergencey/crisis’) to the external test right after the election.

I’ve been posting her for over 2 1/2 years and I’ve never been so upset and worried about what is happening in our country. BUT THERE IS A RAY OF HOPE. A SUPREME COURT CASE (NOT BERG’S) WITH LEGS THAT MAY BE THE END OF OBAMA’S HOPE N CHANGE. UNLIKE THE OTHER CASES THAT WERE DISMISSED FOR NOT HAVING STANDING. NJ HAS BROADER RULES REGARDING STANDING so this case went through the lower courts without being dismissed for lack of standing. So now it will be heard on its merits (Constitutional eligibility of the candidates).
.
Do you realize that there is subtrefuge as high up as the Supreme Court going on with regard to a legitimate case being brought by Leo Donofrio against the NJ Sec. of State (Donofrio v. Wells, US Supreme Court Docket No. 08A407) for putting Obama and McCain (as well as a 3rd person from Nicaragua on the ballot for president in NJ & a few other states where the Sec of State did not bother to check the citizenship of the candidates as required) If you think it’s not true that our Constitution is being thrown out, read how Dan Bickell, the “Stay Clerk” for Justice Souter has taken it upon himself to ILLEGALLY dispose of a case BEFORE Justice Souter ever laid eyes on it. The case is now on the docket and will be reviewed by Justice Thomas. I’m telling you this reads like a spy novel. Please check it out and you will be left wondering why this case is not on the front page of every paper in the country. (Remember the NYSlimes did 42 front page stories on Abu Ghraib)but nothing about a Supreme Court Case that could invalidate the election and PUT OBAMA OUT OF CONTENTION FOR THE OVAL OFFICE FOREVER.
.
When you’re finished checking it out, here’s some phone numbers for the above Supreme Court Clerk, Dan Bickell’s office, as well as for the Supreme Court Clerk’s (general) office.

Sometimes we have to let it get really, really dark, before we can see the light. Imagine the darkest night, a moonless one. The stars are then the brightest.

Let’s not leave anything to chance any more. We failed direly. Our republic, and the next generations can’t afford our ignorance and our bitterness. Cheer up, and fight. Fight like hell to stop this. If you stay depressed, you won’t be able to.

I will fight–Obama’s a one-termer as far as I’m concerned.
And I’m not depressed so much as I am genuinely frightened for myself and my family in particular, the safety and security of our nation and for our troops in harm’s way.

naawwww …. I’m not looking for one (I have a million better things to do), but it appears there is a better than fair chance of a fight coming down the street and folks might like some company … ya’ in?

It’s almost as if this whole thing has been planned.

If anyone’s close to DC Monday night (17th) go to 14th and V St. and let this asshole know how you feel about him. He is having a book-signing at a leftist restaurant known as Busboys & Poets. I can’t believe this POS is going to be a media darling now.

DCJeff on November 14, 2008 at 12:16 AM

Sometimes we have to let it get really, really dark, before we can see the light. Imagine the darkest night, a moonless one. The stars are then the brightest.

Let’s not leave anything to chance any more. We failed direly. Our republic, and the next generations can’t afford our ignorance and our bitterness. Cheer up, and fight. Fight like hell to stop this. If you stay depressed, you won’t be able to.

Well said! We are in for the battle of our lives…communism never failed…it just moved to America.

DCJeff on November 14, 2008 at 12:19 AM

Family friends, huh?

Obama: “I’ll bring some potato salad for the cookout on Saturday.”

Ayers: “Sounds good, I’ll bring the Communist Manifesto.”

Dohrn: “Oh, and you’ve got to try my pipe-bomb pie.”

Everyone: “Hahahaha!”

Can a president elect be impeached?

Bill Ayers as Secretary of Education…

Probably the strongest reason there is to homeschool your child.

(I’m already looking at curricula, even though my little daughter is 23 months old…)

A prediction …

After the 2012 election, should Obama win, maybe even before the election, there will be “talk” to repeal the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution.

adsil on November 13, 2008 at 10:17 PM

Is anyone else disturbed by the fact that people are making the same “predictions” about an Obama administration as people made about Bush? And who were called nutroots?

Ortzinator on November 14, 2008 at 1:01 AM

Does anyone out there currently work for DOD.

once upon a time, when I was fresh out of college, I applied for an entry level job with DOD. You started out as a GS-5 which was essentially a glorified clerical position. Our security clearnaces were either “none” or “confidential” (I think that was it.. whatever the lowest one was)

The FBI came out to my neighborhood and interviewed about 30 to 40 neighbors. Those that didn’t answer the door got questionaiires. Consider that my dad had a secret clearance at the time. If I had any connection at all with someone like ayers I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO HOLD A FREAKING CLERICAL JOB. Throughout my time there, there would be periodic rechecks.

So, HOW IN THE HELL does obama get the keys to our conventional and nuclear weapons without going through a security check?… Sumptin ain’t right here boss..

Here are some questions for Diane that I know she will never ask (the only people who get gotcha questions are those like Sarah Palin)

1. What part did you have in the planned nail bombing of the fort dix soliers?

2. FBI Informant Larry Grathwohl stated that the weathermen were willing to kill 25 million americans. What did you know about that.

3. Follow up to 2.. You were a founder and leader of the organization. Grathwohl said 25 leaders were discussing the murder of 25 million people. Surely you have some knowledge of this.

4. There is an amazing similarity between the 1970’s weatherment logo and the Obama logo. Did you have any part in the Obama logo design?

5. Did you ghostwrite any part of Obama’s Dreams from my father?

6. Follow up to 5. You say ‘no’. Can you explain the several nautical references in dreams from Obama, a man with no nautical experience. Didn’t you work as a merchant seaman at one time?

7. You encouraged kids to go home and kill their parents. Have you ever said that to your own kids or the Obama kids?

No, there won’t be any questions like that… Just a bunch of slobbering leftist drivel.

Any comment that my fingers will type right now (other than this) will just get me banned.

Good night.

bullseye-

Dead center; perfect pattern.

Diane Sawyer will probably ask Ayers:

If you were a tree, would it be a deciduous or evergreen?”

I watch CSpan 1 and 2 and have not found them yet not even “Haeth Shuler” or “Jim Webb” Reagan in reverse “blue dogs”….

“csdeven on November 14, 2008 at 1:00 AM”

well, there is surely no precedent, so i’ll lean towards “no” …

/as madisonconservative has been saying, it may be the wisest course of action to see if he actually DOES ANYTHING before we start down such a road …
