Yeah, that’s always a good reason NOT to pray for somebody. The Bible says the exact opposite concerning the lost in Acts 26:18. It says we should pray for God, “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins.” You can NOT pray for me all you want, Esthier. I love you. And I will be praying that you, “Repent.. and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out (remembered no more), when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord (when you stand before God).” Acts 3:19

He said that for a specific reason. You have two choices. You can either be Scriptural and demand righteousness, or you can drop Scripture and righteousness and live according to the world. God took my rotten dirty heart, that loved to lust. That prefered lying, stealing, and lying to tell the truth. I was no different than any other person I just hid it very well. He took me and He transformed me. He gave me new desires for what is right, rather than for what’s wrong. He opened up the Bible to me it was like a light comin’ on God’s Word. And seriously, you keep bolding the same quotes. “Without the drinks” literally meant without the drinks, but that’s the whole point of puns, that they can have different meanings.

Were Madison a neighbor, I would enjoy his company in person far more than any of you who claim to be Christians yet spew so much hate on this site that you more effectively work against God.

This isn’t the Taliban, apacalyps. Men and women can be friends. It doesn’t offend God.

And as to the rest, I sincerely was making a joke, one that’s a little more personal. My husband, like pretty much every guy I ever dated, was not a Christian when we first started dating.

My last boyfriend had never really gone to church before dating me. By the time I broke up with him, he literally was singing solos in the church choir. He’s now a Music Minister at another church.

See, when you’re not an @ss to people, it’s actually possible to get them to listen to you and see God, not because you’re preaching to them or trying to beat them over the head with a Bible.

I respect Madison, and I respect his intelligence. I know he’s read the Bible before and has an understanding of Christianity, and while I don’t agree with the conclusions he’s drawn on Christ, I understand that they’re his conclusions to draw.

You respect no one except those who parrot the things you believe and disrespect God’s creation with your anger and hatred.

You don’t know peace, and you don’t know love. You worry about others’ sins while forgetting the most basic commandment Jesus gave; love God; love everyone else.
