But, if it were correct, how do you explain the disproportionate reaction to Zionist occupation of a small amount of marginal, non-oil producing land? If no religious zealotry were involved, it would seem a lot more sensible to expand in a direction that yeilded more profit for less effort.

Obambi is not only a sympathizer he’s an anti-war pacifistic appeaser (read useful idiot) and they know he will be a weak president so what better time to strike us when they know Kumbaya-Obambi won’t do a damn thing!

I don’t think our enemies will hit Obambi, he’s too useful to them for now, but there is no doubt they are going to do something to the US to test Kumbaya-Obambi’s resolve.

No they don’t. They want what everyone else wants…power. That means power to control all of the mid-east (no Israel to get in the way, no US in Iraq). And without Gitmo, they get back a lot of their soldiers. I highly doubt OBL gives a rat’s ass what Hollywood says or does.

I just worry if some of the counter-measures that Bush has put up over the past seven years are removed, if we open ourselves. There’s a reason we’ve been safe so long and the President-Elect should not undermine it. Were any future attack do to his policies, we should not be afraid to mention it.

I don’t think who our president is means much to Bin Ladin and his ilk. They are always planning attacks on us–and Bin Ladin has proved himself to be a good general. He is an engineer and parlayed the $13 million (I think) his dad left him into $200 million or more with good business / organization skills. He (and / or his advisors) scaled back the 9/11 attack from 10 planes to 4 planes to get a better operational plan–and showed how cheaply and simply he could damage us.

His next attack will probably be with small A-BOMBS–the lightweight types used on the Tactical Ballistic Missiles North Korea and Pakistan have now. Iran is probably designing / building similar warheads–only a big country like the U.S.A. can sustain an air force capable of carrying really big nukes.

The targets will be the same–NYC and Washington D.C. The bombs will be backpacked over the porous Northern or Southern borders. Coming soon to U.S. cities–when the patient Bin Ladin finally gets his bombs and plans together.

There are literally hundreds of ways that Al Qaeda or any other terrorist group could wreak havoc in the United States. One reason they haven’t done anything since 9-11 is because they know George Bush will destroy any nation he finds is in cahoots with them. Bin Laden, or whoever is pulling his strings, knows that a President Obama is not going to commit the military to new conflicts so soon after taking office. It is not in his DNA to send the US military to the other side of the planet to kill other humans.

I fully expect some sort of terrorist attack in 2009. It may not be planes flying into buildings but don’t be surprised to see NY’s water supply effed with or a nuclear plant attacked. Biden was right — this guy is going to be tested early.

Off topic a little- Obama has sent an advisor to engage in talks with Syria and Egypt, telling them he will give their view more consideration in future. The man he chose to send is Robet Malley- who Obama allegedly sacked during the campaign when it emerged he was in regular contact with Hamas. At the time Obama's spokesman said that "he will not play any role in the future".
