2048? Why wait so long? She is already as qualified as BHO

BuckNutty on November 8, 2008 at 4:39 PM

I can’t figure out how to hear the clip. What did she say?

PattyJ on November 8, 2008 at 4:39 PM

This child is adorable.

haikusrock on November 8, 2008 at 4:40 PM

She has her mother’s charisma and charm already. Give her a few years and she’ll probably be a force of nature.

Jill1066 on November 8, 2008 at 4:41 PM

2048? Why wait so long? She is already as qualified as BHO

BuckNutty on November 8, 2008 at 4:39 PM

She has to be over 35. That is why Obama is qualified and she isn’t.

Buford on November 8, 2008 at 4:44 PM

I can’t figure out how to hear the clip. What did she say?

PattyJ on November 8, 2008 at 4:39 PM

Patty, the “play button” (arrow) is amidst the data at the top-center under the banner. It’s kinda hard to see, but it’s there.

Tuning Spork on November 8, 2008 at 4:47 PM

To quote Piper, “Awesome!!”

To listen, you have to click on the (almost invisible) circled right arrowhead under the ‘u’ in the word ‘Submitted’.

fred5678 on November 8, 2008 at 4:48 PM

Wow that announcer sure did have a creepy pedo vibe going didn’t he?

And did Piper Palin just pwn Chucky Cheese or what?

Dreadnought223 on November 8, 2008 at 4:48 PM

How many politicians would let their 7 year old child be interviewed on their own?

Phoenician on November 8, 2008 at 4:48 PM

she’s adorable, makes you want to have children

Buford on November 8, 2008 at 4:44 PM

And that is the only reason.

Chelsea v Piper …

Benjamin9 on November 8, 2008 at 4:48 PM

Dude, 2048. It’s happening.

Dude, it’s on!

Watch out Chelsea Clinton and Jenna Bush!

terryannonline on November 8, 2008 at 4:49 PM

She’s the best. Did anyone hear Governor Palin in the background telling Piper to get ready for school? Haha.

V15J on November 8, 2008 at 4:50 PM

7 years old and already more on message than Joe Biden.

Ponz on November 8, 2008 at 4:53 PM

There’s that evil b1tch Palin using her children again.
(Just getting a jump on our trolls… )

Y-not on November 8, 2008 at 4:55 PM

Governor Palin then wonders why Piper pegs her as the disciplinarian in the house.

Phoenician on November 8, 2008 at 4:56 PM

Palin 2012 “that would be awesome.”

mad saint jack on November 8, 2008 at 4:59 PM

Thanks for posting that, after this election we all need to find reasons to smile!

Done That on November 8, 2008 at 4:59 PM

She is the sweetest little child. We’ll never get over her slicking back Trig’s hair during her mother’s speech.

cjs1943 on November 8, 2008 at 5:02 PM

That kind of innocence is so refreshing. After wallowing in cynicism for months, there is something perfect about a child thinking it would be awesome to turn Canada into a water park.

Piper gives me a glimmer of hope for the future. Wonderful child :)

LimeyGeek on November 8, 2008 at 5:05 PM

First thing since Tuesday that’s made me smile.

You mean, my logging in this morning didn’t do it?

apacalyps on November 8, 2008 at 5:05 PM

When looking at the mistake made in the past week its nice to always look to the future to see hope.

William Amos on November 8, 2008 at 5:07 PM

That was great! Just wonderful!

JellyToast on November 8, 2008 at 5:07 PM

This kid is adorbs!!!! I love her. Shame she can’t be VP-in-training…

(I thought that her spit licking her little Brother’s hair would be the cutest thing ever, she got it beat by a little bit with this).

mjk on November 8, 2008 at 5:07 PM

If you’re having trouble accessing the audio files for the interviews, here’s what you do.

The following links shows the segments and the URL. Click on each link and it opens directly into to a downloadable file.

When it goes to save the file, then you’ll have to label the file as a “.mp3″ file, since it won’t come labeled that way. And then you can name the file segments any way you want.

So, for example, label the file as “part1.mp3″ — remember to add the mp3 part so that your computer knows to open it as an mp3 file.

Here are the links to all the clips:

“That’d be awesome!” – Piper Palin

Piper for President

William Amos on November 8, 2008 at 5:12 PM

And when Sarah picked up the phone, you’d think she just got back from the grocery store, not an insanely brutal presidential campaign. She is great.

Jim Treacher on November 8, 2008 at 5:13 PM

This just means the media has to start destroying her now.

gumble on November 8, 2008 at 5:19 PM

Piper is so cute.

hawkdriver on November 8, 2008 at 5:19 PM

This just means the media has to start destroying her now.

gumble on November 8, 2008 at 5:19 PM

OMG Yes!

Davis Axelrod Office: Sir, Piper Palin just gave the most adorable radio interview. I’m afraid it could bode badly if it raises Sarah Palin positives anymore. Hmm, deploy journalists to her grade school and have them look for some dirt. You know, the usual stuff; doesn’t share crayons, looks at other kids quiz papers, crushes on little boys. Piper Palin is a threat to the movement. Destroy her.

And BTW, scour the internet and have all those shots of her licking Trigs bangs removed too.

hawkdriver on November 8, 2008 at 5:24 PM

Now there is some real home training going on at the Palin household! Loved it! Normal family needed ASAP in the White House! It is on for 2012 and 2048. They could be the first Mother and Daughter Presidents in the history of the U.S.

Let us pray we are still around in 2012 for Piper’s Mom to be elected! We have to first survive BHO.

freeus on November 8, 2008 at 5:25 PM

“And Mickey Mouse can be your press secretary.”

CanadianGuy on November 8, 2008 at 4:55 PM

Doubtful. I saw his voter registration card and he’s registered democrat.

Sir Corky on November 8, 2008 at 5:26 PM

Piperites unite!

In other news: I live in rural Texas and I hear the beautiful sound of gunfire; for about two hours now. Sounds like my fellow “bitter clingers” are using the Second Amendment to polish up in case President PÜssy Boy decides to try and interfere with those rights.

carbon_footprint on November 8, 2008 at 5:27 PM

Put Sarah in the White House in 4 years . . . if the country survives the next four years.

rplat on November 8, 2008 at 5:27 PM

in case President PÜssy Boy decides to try and interfere with those rights.

Clarification: the preceding comment was not intended in any way, shape or form to condone violence toward anyone, specifically “President PÜssy Boy”. I am merely accentuated the constitutional amendment that gives Americans the right to arm themselves just in case the government oversteps their bounds of governance.

carbon_footprint on November 8, 2008 at 5:34 PM

In fairness, O’s girls are really cute also. That’s about the only nice thing I can say about their parents.

Phoenician on November 8, 2008 at 4:48 PM

Yes, thank God those McCain people are not handling her rollout.

By the way, did anybody notice that she was against repainting the WH, but was for leaving it white? NATURAL CONSERVATIVE. Made my eyes water.

Piper/Johnny 2040

Note: Johnny is my son, alias Littlebear. He would be an excellent running mate and get the Catholic vote for the ticket.

Your intent was clear and you are absolutely correct. An armed citizenry is the shield between them and the tyranny of government . . . just as the Founding Fathers intended.

goldeagle11 on November 8, 2008 at 5:49 PM

She is precious.

I really had little hope of a Mac win and few expectations for Mac if he did win. He’s irrelevant as far as I’m concerned.

However, a McCain/Palin win would have put Sarah in a position to do much good, more so than Mac. Palin’s family reminds many of us what America was and what it stands for, and yes, there is a certain sentimentality for those of us who grew up in the sort of environment that Palin represents.

I hope it isn’t lost.

Cody1991 on November 8, 2008 at 5:49 PM

Yah, I know what you mean. My Dad was very reliable and I always slept soundly in the backseat with my Dad driving. Life was secure when Dad was around. Middle-class American before all hell broke loose and the nuclear family unraveled for many. God, in many respects, we are a more selfish people in this country.

That was one thing about Obama that I felt sorry about, was that his father left him. However, I’m not cutting him any slack because of it.

carbon_footprint on November 8, 2008 at 6:08 PM

About the only negative thing I can say about this is that she doesn’t like Aerosmith. But for a 7 year old, I suppose that’s OK. They haven’t put out anything good in her lifetime.

Sapwolf on November 8, 2008 at 5:54 PM

Sapwolf, we were very lucky. It doesn’t mean are selfish. Respect for family and the responsibility it requires is a core conservative value.

Not everyone has what we had. I understand that. The difference is that now we make excuses and allowances for that lack which essentially means that we excuse people of personal responsibility. We allow people to behave as they choose and throw the burden on others.

It can’t last forever. The big “insurance umbrella” of anonymous payers will opt out or be tapped out.

BO doesn’t understand this. And he’s very comfortable living off taxpayers – just like the Clintons.

carbon_footprint on November 8, 2008 at 6:08 PM

Thanks, CF. I’m done with TV news….haven’t watched it in years.

If anyone else is ready for the boycott, write to the advertisers and tell them why. Yeah, that means no sitting in front of the TV watching football. If you have internet over cable, work something out and start canceling channels if you have that option. There’s no point in supporting the MSM.

There are plenty of ways to vote, and voting against the MSM is long overdue. Money talks.

I’m more disturbed by the fact that she thinks a half naked duck would be a good bodyguard. Clearly, that’s Pluto’s job.

lorien1973 on November 8, 2008 at 6:23 PM

The moment I realized that Gov. Palin as someone I could really endorse was when I saw pictures of her inaugural. The family looked great but Piper was wearing a tiara. I don’t know how to explain it but it was more important that Piper felt special on this day then what a bunch of stuffy adults would think. And if you don’t think it’s a big deal go back and read press reports of Chief Justice John Roberts’ little ones when he was sworn in. You have to give kids the chance to be kids and all that entails.

Cindy Munford on November 8, 2008 at 6:28 PM

Piper will have a bright future.
Disney day everyday when she is president!
Maybe she will have her own show on Disney channel in the next few years.
Since she likes the Jonas brothers so much, she might appear on their new show on Disney.
HA HA HA!
