Do you realize how much energy it takes to be so critical all of the time? Someone should do a bit of research of how much these people have physically over-aged in the last eight years. They must all be near burn out.
My strategy is to rather take joy from how much work it is going to take for these people to make their leadership look successful. They’ll all make McCain look like a pup in two years.

Her greatest challenge is to keep cretins like this from writing the narrative for her. It will be a battle she fights every day. One thing in her favor: media types worship power. It’s one of the biggest reasons they gravitate to liberals – they swoon over the promises of massive government spending and vast programs headed by powerful masters of the state. They can fall in love with a Republican’s power too, if she shows strength and determination, and keeps herself in the public eye. If she retreats into the background, they’ll write a story about how she’s Daisy Duke in a fur parka, and the “swing voters” will be telling each other that story over beers in 2012.

Chris Matthews is one of those unstoppably dumb presenters who couldn’t reason his way out of a paper bag and whose rampant ignorance contributes much to the dumbing down of America.
For instance I caught a little slice of him today ranting about what the economy needed to get it back up and running. His comment was along the lines of “screw tax cuts and interest rates – they take too long to take effect. People need jobs NOW. Let’s get them building roads and bridges immediately!”
Liberals are incapable of understanding the most basic economic facts. Reacting to a recession by diverting capital to public works projects is the exact same thing which prevented the economy from bouncing back during the Depression, and condemned the poorest to many more years of poverty than was necessary. What is so hard to understand about the fact that the creation of prosperity needs the creation of more wealth, not wealth redistribution? It’s everyone’s right to be stupid but when the likes of Chris Matthews spews this crap to national audiences on a daily basis he’s doing the country a great disservice. This kind of misinformation and erroneous reasoning is exactly how it came to pass that a socialist got elected as President.

Now we know. Thanks, Matthews for clearing that up for us, but you’ll have to understand we grown-up, serious folk expect a tad more out of our leaders than simply being able to wave.
Sadly, this time there were not enough folks taking this serious – which is okay. We can go on – and hopefully one day wave (correctly mind you) good-bye to both Obama and his lapdog, Chris Matthews.

Maybe we have been blaming the McCain aides mistakenly. This looks to me like the Drive By Media has made this whole “report” up out of nothing. Maybe no McCain aide said a thing! Throughout the whole campaign, reporters were making up misquotes to try to trash Sarah to her face! “Even your Republican colleagues think you’re trash, what do you say about that?” So what makes us think that they wouldn’t just make this all up???

So far, all the statements that have been “leaked” by the McCain team have been disavowed by the people involved, including the geography lesson about Africa and the greeting her guests wearing nothing but a towel. Makes you kind of wonder what the real agenda is of the leakers: do they really have something worthwhile to say, is it just sour grapes, are they really Democrats-in disguise, do they fear Palin 2012?…. Who knows? Until they are willing to come forth, it is just BS…

The press is desperate to keep her in their news. Sarah is a hot commodity , and their ratings will suffer without her.
Eventually, they will be following her around as she performs the daily tasks of governing Alaska, and she will not be under the constraints of the McCain campaign.
Obama will become ho-hum, and the press is going to long for Sarah.
