If Palin was not a threat there would be know reason to keep slamming her. The media knows this and will try to run her thru the mud until they feel she is unelectable in the future. Sadly Mccain is not coming to her defense even though she kept him from losing by 10% to 15%.

In Tweety’s debutante handbook, a lady either does the Jackie O and holds the elbow firm, arm up at 90 degrees, rotating the palm back and forth with a jaunty snap of the wrist, or she does the Michelle O Terrorist Fist Bump.

I am so looking forward to seeing the Cuda take this putz apart when she does the inevitable hardball interview in the not to distant future. Especialy now that she doesn’t have to tow the McCain campaign line anymore she doesn’t have to play nice at all and can now go after her critics in true Sarahcuda fashion just like she did in Alaska. By the time she is done the political corpses of her detractors will litter the landscape of Washington.

Just remember Hell hath no fury like a Woman scorned.

Your depiction was more NUANCED.

I’m watching another Katrina blah-blah-blah on some program on some Leftoid network. Katrina “raised serious doubts about this nation’s ability to take care of its own”

Katrina got the Dems their majority in Congress in 2006, not Iraq. Katrina was a watershed event, a breakout event–choose your cliche: Katrina gave the Dems a Whole New Line of Attack by serving as a compelling visual symbol of how we are all helpless victims, just waiting for Disaster to overwhelm us, and only the gov-ment can rescue us and make us Whole again

I warned a few days before the Election that far too many Americans had become Katrina Americans, and we were outnumbered. Some newbie called me a troll and some of you disagreed, but I was ‘leider richtig’: unfortunately correct

The New Democrat Coalition of non-Whites and Victims Awaiting Disaster rolled over us like Katrina rolling over ‘Naw-Lins’

Some White Dude is on screen now, claiming that Bush only gave aid ‘grudgingly’ because N.O. was “this Black city” whose voting affiliations were resented

This is not how we think; it is how THEY think: WE are suspect and less than human, so WE deserve to be treated without fairness or compassion

I’ll say it again and again, because it’s true and needs saying: We are in a war with determined enemies who want us ruined, fired, disgraced, and marginalized. Until we fully realize that and take effective counter-measures, we are…………doomed / totally screwed / without a future in our own country

Janos Hunyadi on November 8, 2008 at 1:45 AM

IMO this has been our supreme failure, we have allowed ourselves to be defined by the Chris Matthews of this world. Yes the Republicans have not acted in ways consistent with our values but the Dems got away with having a HUGE role in the housing crisis and gained from it. Most people who went to the polls on Tues have no clue what role the Dems played because they were prevented from knowing. We allowed that to happen because our candidate expected his “base” to make the case for him. Unfortunately, his base was an incredibly biased media that turned on him as soon as he was nominated. We will get nowhere, however, if we keep this same failed strategy. There has been enough hand wringing and running from Bush already. We need a communicator in chief.

Matthews is such a dumb ass.

Phil Byler on November 8, 2008 at 7:22 AM

Uh, ladies and gents, I know our esteemed head bloggers have declared this issue over and done with, but apparently the SOTUS justices want just a little more proof.

http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2008/11/scotus-souter-t.html

My question to you all (especially the lawyers in the crowd) is what happens if Mr. Obama DOESN’T present the Vault Original of his Birth Certificate? With the SOTUS just say, “Oh, well, that’s okay. No big deal.”? Or might we be headed for some uncharted waters here?

Also, if you believe as I do that ANY president-elect should have at some point had to produce such documentation (not to mention a Senator), you can let Congress know you feel as such at:

Chris Matthews will try to run for political office.
Oprah Winfree announced she will end her TV run in 2011….so she will be running for office in 2012. (Senator from Illinois?)

Chris Mathews and other liberal commentator news people know it is over for them having a Democratic President and Congress. They only survive by bashing the people in power – they can’t do that now. So their ratings will suffer, they will disappear.

These next 4 years will be Rush Limbaugh’s golden years.

Think about it, there are some people out there (registered to vote) who actually think Chis Matthews is a journalist.

I am going to agree with Sarah Palin on this one.

http://sarah-palin-2008.blogspot.com/2008/11/palin-those-guys-are-jerks.html

I am going to be practicing my “I didn’t Vote for Him” response, everytime things get worse in this Country. I think, I should add a link to a soundbyte, about Chris Matthews tingling leg, to those comments. Those soundbytes must be online somewhere.

In fact that would be a good response to Maya Angelou’s “Poem for Obama” a string of fawning media soundbytes, from over the campaign time line. (Barack Obama-The Oprah President, The Mainstream Media, deserves payback) I even have a title, for the response to Maya Angelou’s Obama poem.

My daughter worked for the McCain campaign and was assigned to Pallin on more than one occasion. Her reports to us were that she was the most natural, pleasant, down-to-earth person you’d ever want to meet. She said Tod was also a great guy and the kids were terrific. In the morning, Pallin would make her own coffee instead of heading to Starbucks for her exotic brew.

My daughter is outraged by the press reports which she states emphatically are simply not true. Pallin will do a good job with Gretta and dispel some of this nonsense. Mathews? He’s a parakeet male through and through.

Charles Martel on November 8, 2008 at 9:48 AM

Apparently Chris Matthews has finally realized he will never measure up to Tim Russert and so he is trying to take the Keith Olbermann path to ratings success.

This must be the final stage of acceptance of his limitations.
