His question of Obama applies to MILLIONS of folks who either own their own business or someday want to own their own business.

Of all the folks logging on to HA today how many of them can you PROVE have thought about owning their own business? How many of them can you PROVE have NOT thought about owning their own business?

The answer to both is NONE.

However, Joe’s question to Obama “how Obama’s plan will affect small business IF he is elected and IF he gets his plan through UNCHANGED, is still a valid question that Obama has not answered.

Example, Obama has said his plan will ONLY raise YOUR taxes if YOU make over 250K
He has also said his plan will ONLY raise YOUR taxes if YOUR family make over 250K.
Which is it? It can’t be both.

Example: a family with two incomes both $249K each for a total family income of $498 K will not see ANY increase in their taxes but a single person making a total of $250.000.01 is screwed?

What is fair about that? What is progressive about that?

OR is it a family with a combined income of $250.000.01 is screwed
And a single person making $249K sees no increase in taxes.

Or as most suspect, Obama has been lying his ass off cause his plan ONLY goes up to 125K per person for a combined possible family income of $250K.

But if one person makes $185K and the other only makes $50K, there screwed for the $60K over $125K limit.

Obama has NEVER answered these questions about his plans, this might also help explain the over the top reaction to someone asking Obama ANY questions, hey just look what they did the Joe for asking a question.

Note: I used the 250K because that’s the number most have heard. I know in the last 2 weeks Obama’s numbers have been from 70K to 200K to anything in between.

This means Obama’s campaign or it supporter’s violated Joe’s confidential information just in case they might need it. On Oct 16th “they” made that info public.

This sort of action begs the question “who else lives have they investigated just in case?”

Bottom line, there has to be a legitimate legal GOVERNMENT business reason to search anyone’s files. And that info CAN NOT be made public.

It was. Game over for any defense of Ohio.

What was the legal GOVERNMENT business being investigated about Joe?

It was the over the top trashing of Joe that made him popular among the Rep.

Who could blame him for going to the side that is not trying to destroy him?

Should he sue for damages? Yes.

Joe no longer works for the co he did work for as that co is now out of business due to the trashing of Joe.

BTW they (Ohio Government) also investigated and made public confidential information (tax records)

Many states do not require each worker to possess a license for their craft, if their company owner has an overall Contractor’s license. That is true in CA, and I suspect fits the situation in Joe the Plumbers’ life as well. Insofar as making $250K, he merely stated that he was looking in the future at buying the plumbing establishment where he is currently employed, as in the sense of it being the American Dream. That is, Joe is currently an employee at this point in his life, yet he aspires to becoming the owner of that company someday. If that is still what he aspires to at this point.

BTW, I think it was despicable that the press, who never vetted the Obamessiah’s school, associations, radical viewpoints, etc. would go after Joe (and Sarah Palin & Family) like sharks in a feeding frenzy. Just because O, in an unguarded moment, dared to “reveal” the truth about his true redistributionist policies.

As to Journalistic Malfeasance during Election 2008:

1) From this moment on, every smarmy member of the press who does someone dirty the way they did the Palins or Joe, should find out that two can play at that game. It should now be open season on every journalist’s private details (behind-the-scenes-dirt)each and every time they smear a real person for wanting to run for office or merely speaking up to a politician. (Did you see the way all those tv anchors were grinning and gloating when they thought their despicable mud would stick to the Palins? Very smarmy indeed. Real men & women do not have to smear a 17 year old pregnant girl who chooses to keep her baby!)

2) The breathtaking hypocrisy in this election revealed that nearly every single journalist (with only a few of exceptions) promoted Obamessiah ceaselessly. The so-called Mainstream Media now serves as the public relations arm of the Democratic Party. All enemedia should have their party affiliation stated after their bylines or screen names, thereby outing them as 99% Democrats. This would put to rest the protestations that journalists are so professional that they leave their personal biases at the door. Yeah. Right.

LibCon is what happens when you open registration but don’t have that little button that says “You must be 18 to enter this site”.

His posts, and the language and logic contained therein, belie the fact that he was old enough to vote in the recent election.

The guy was NOT, ever, a licensed Plumber, he never was supposed to buy a business, ever, the only thing he ever was, was someone who worked, as a unlicensed helper, in a plumbing business.

I live in the DC area now, but I’m from Ohio originally. My brother is an consulting engineer in Ohio. I asked my brother about this when the story broke. Such is how I know, for an indisputable fact, that Joe does not need a license to be a plumber in Ohio!!! (Oh, yeah, I also went out on a limb and looked up the statute, which is more than some people did.) He would need one for commercial work, but not residential. He may need one in the City of Toledo, but not the surrounding county.

As to Joe’s aspirations of buying a business, how many people reading this have dreamed out loud of doing anything? How many have entertained the notion long enough to wonder how changes in government policy might affect that? How many of us have wanted to ask a candidate for political office about this?

Well, thanks to guys like “LibertarianConservative,” it just got harder to ask questions of our public officials. Everyone reading this (including the aforementioned party) could very well be the next one investigated by pencil-necked paper-hanging small-time bureaucrats, like the mole working in state government who illegally pulled Joe’s private information.

Don’t think for one damn minute it can’t happen. It can. It did. And it will again.

At least we all know who to thank.
