That is patently FALSE. Sarah stated in one of here early interviews that she only knew about being a VP candidate for a few weeks before she was picked. The meeting between McCain and Palin just before she was announced was the first time they had ever met face-to-face.

Add on top that she is a Governor and has a state to run. She has a family to take care of too. I think that the big majority of people would have crumbled under that kind of pressure. So you just waltz in here and lie through your teeth to misrepresent it. Yeah, real nice.

I don’t believe Sara Palin is a potted plant. She couldn’t have got to where she is if that was the case. But I do believe she was completely unaware of what she was getting herself into. She was unprepared to talk about anything on a national stage so that’s why Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric chew her up and spit her out in little pieces. It seems like to me was,if it didn’t involve Alaska,she didn’t have a clue about it

I personally think (and hope) that all this stuff about the clothes is complete bull. I love Palin. She’s the only reason I went out to vote, and I want to see her run in 2016. I like to think that all this is staffers setting her up for all their mistakes. I’m just trying to prepare myself just in case it isn’t; because as much as I love her, she’s not perfect and sometimes people make mistakes. I don’t want this hanging over her head when she mounts her run for president.

I’d like somebody to start naming names on who these “anonymous sources” are too. Palin seemed to imply today that at least one of them would have to be from her debate prep because apparently that’s where the Africa and NAFTA conversations (That have been completely taken out of context to make her look dumb, while everyone who will speak on the record says that she’s very smart.)came from. Wasn’t Schmidt part of her debate prep?

Let’s get a couple of things straight:

(1) The Republican ticket for President read as follows:
McCain/Palin NOT Palin/McCain

(2) Who was running the McCain Campaign for President? Who had the final say on anything and everything?

Answer: John McCain

John McCain wanted to pick Joe Lieberman as his VP,or someone like Mitt or Tim Pawenty(hope I got that right).He had the power to veto any choice so I’m wondering why he let his handlers talk him into a decision like this one.

And he still had time to dump Palin after the Katie Couric interview and get someone that could’ve helped him more.
But McCain knew he was in a desperate situation so he let himself get talked into picking a person who was nothing more than a butcher in a supermarket,to carve up red meat and throw it to the luntic fringe of the Republican Party in a attempt to “fire them up”. And it blew up right in their faces. To tell you the truth,I don’t blame the McCain people for being just a little bit pissed off after they found out Ms.Hockey Mom was jamming the old man behind the scenes

I read that in the article too, but I thought it said he was talking to Alaska donors and not necessarily big donors all over the country. I might be remembering that wrong though. Either way shouldn’t have been done if it’s true.

The article said though that Palin was refusing to talk to donors because she found it “corrupting.” That’s the part that doesn’t make sense to me. That story seems somewhat contradictory with the story about Todd. Makes me wonder which one is true.

here’s something else that’s come out along those lines:
“First Dude” Todd Palin was talking to fat-cat Republican doners by phone during the campaign,asking them to “keep their power dry” until 2012.

Translation: The Palins were already looking ahead to the next election before the current one was decided.

They saw the writing on the wall and knew they had ZERO chance to win and people in the McCain camp realized what was going down,so do you blaming them for getting some payback on a bunch of people that were stabbing their boss in the back? And if this wasn’t true, McCain would’ve already said something, but he’s been pretty mum.

Couple of new bits: it claims that by the end she refused to talk to donors (Which is weird cause she did a bunch of fundraisers for them and raised her governor’s race money completely on her own. I guess she changed her mind?), and that she refused to go onstage with pro-choice or anti-drilling Republicans in New Hampshire. It should be noted that Steve Duprey, who was traveling with her that day, denies that that happened. But the two she apparently dissed either couldn’t be reach for comment or refused to comment.

I figure the pendulum is just swining the other way for a little while, almost like it has to. The mainstream press saw how talk radio helped Bush get in twice so they just pulled the same thing, thats all. No biggy. Paybacks are a bitch when it comes our turn again.

It’s not that I even care what you, an Ayers lover and asshat who takes their flag down when their guy loses an election, has to say, but what the hell does that even mean?

She was the freaking Vice Presidential candidate for christ’s sake

Do you think that John Nance Gardner was cared about as much as the media cared about Palin?

She could not win from the beginning … they made fun of her homestate, they smeared her family, they made fun of her glasses, they called her dumb from the get because she was attractive woman … remember in this day and age only women in pantsuits with haircuts like dudes are “intelligent”

Her direct counterpart in this election claimed that FDR went on television to tell Americans about the great depression in 1929, told a man in a wheelchair to stand up and said that JOBS was a 3 letter word.

and then at the end her own freaking campaign team throws her under the bus, runs her over and backs it up to hit her again

all because they ran a shitty campaign with a horrible presidential candidate

John McCain doesn’t know JACK about economics and yet Palin is the idiot … right makes a lot of sense

If you are a moron who has been in the senate since the 3rd grade you get a free pass

Right on.

Compare Sarah to Rumsfelt , a seasoned smooth talker , I think he made some really bad mistakes handling the war in iraq , but the media could never ever crack him in any interview.

She isn’t that good , so she needed a smoother start.
Sarah has a good track record of decisions and what she has done , because any mistakes and we would’ve been told all about it by now. “Trooper Gate” the only thing and it was a non starter , even with the MSM at hand.

What i mean is that a slick solid talker necessarily doesn’t make good decisions.
And the business world and the military is full of people that would fall flat in an hostile interview , but they dominates the place when real things need to be done and now.

Her biggest mistake were thinking that the Mccain team was good enough and willing to fight.

Obama is no smooth talker , when they push him. But they never did.

And hard decisions he ever made , none.

The fact of the matter is Palin was right and the MSM going on and on about this is doing nothing to take her down. But keep it up because it’ll just make moderate elitist types that much more unpopular in future elections. McCainiacs won’t get elected dog catcher. Look to the primaries where a REAL CONSERVATIVE will go up against a RINO time and time again. Can’t wait Jindhal starts giving more and more interviews and the elitist start trying to tear him down.
