Are you people serious?? first of all this didn’t come from the Obama team to “distract the country”. This is coming from somebody or maybe even a couple of people inside the McCain campaign and it was 1st reported on FOX NEWS,the so-called epicenter of right-wing news that all of you claim is “fair and balanced”. Now that they report on a story that’s blasting the same presidental ticket that they were clearly in the tank for the entire campaign,you people turn on them for taking a shot at poor ol’ Sara.

Have you people stopped and thought for 1 sec that maybe what Carl Cameron told Bill O was true and this really went on?

From what I’ve seen here,the answer to that is NO!

Fox News goes totally out of their way to claim that they are the only network that is “fair and balanced” so all they were doing is reporting it like they say they are.

If this came from MSNBC,CNN,NBC,ABC,CBS,then you would have a bone to pick with them. But this came from Fox,YOUR network that has been nothing more that a agent of propaganda for George Bush and the Republican Party since Day 1

Shes no chump, might have been a little unaquainted with foreign affairs but she had her own responsibilities that werent fullfilled voting present.

As far as understanding them its easy,

conservatives opt for whats right and side with free like minded countries.

Sarah Palin I am certain would put the country first as our founding fathers saw it.

It is truly amazing how some people, especially on this board are so attached to politicians. Today alone, I have seen about a dozen people say that they want Palin to run in 2012, and that their vote will follow her and so on. Like she is the last good conservative in the country. Over in the Alfonzo thread, several people are calling for him to run for president. I mean, are we that crappy of a party that whoever comes in front of us and says a couple things we agree with is automatically the best choice for the PRESIDENT of the most powerful country on earth? Eff Sarah Palin, there are better, smarter people out there than her. She served her purpose, and would have made a good VP probably, but my use for her has ended.

You’ve made it clear that you think the Republican party should commit suicide by snubbing the social conservatives, even though this election showed how effective they were in GOTV. There is no evidence that Palin drove supporters from the ticket, in fact quite the opposite, given the crowds she drew and the amount of money she raised. She has been thoroughly vetted now.

The next election is four years away, and that’s plenty of time for Sarah Palin to get “experience.” She can use that time to her advantage, and someone else may come along, too.

Attacking her like these McCain supporters are is sheer idiocy, though. No one doing this anonymously through the media or on blogs and comment sections has the Republican party’s best interests at heart, and that’s why these people should be named and / or told to shut their pieholes.

Absolutely. I’ve been one of the few persistent critics of McCain since he ‘won’ the primary. Funny if so many Republicans wanted him, you would think you McCain loyalists wouldn’t have been screaming so much that everyone had to get behind him. Why was his campaign pretty much stillborn until he brought a conservative on board? Funny, even though she had some painful gaffes, look at how much enthusiasm a genuine conservative generated in just two and a half months compared to the almost 6 that McShamnesty had. The only derangement in this thread, as usual, is yours whizzman.
Think about this as a normal person would. It’s TWO DAYS after the election; this isn’t like the McClellan memoir that bashed Bush a couple years after he left…IT’S TWO DAYS and McCain staffers are bashing Palin..and McCain isn’t saying anything. How long did it take McCain to personally respond to the North Carolina ad on Reverend Wright? Yet all day and he’s said nothing. You want everyone to believe something is going on behind the scenes. What the f**k good does that do Palin who’s being trashed in the media by her f***ing running mates flunkies TWO DAYS after the election! If McCain was truly the honorable man you buttkissers make him out to be, he would have publicly repudiated his staffers and started firing people. Instead he’s said nothing.
Think about this too: Palin’s staffers could probably find out who’s dishing this dirt..and take some kind of revenge on them..unless they’re being protected by McCain. Face it Whizzman, this kind of attitude starts at the top, and trickles down..and then staffers feel they have the right to go out and talk this kind of garbage. I’m willing to bet McCain has been stewing about how wildly popular Palin is with the base and is more than happy to let his scumbag staffers trash her. Typical McCain. Won’t take the gloves off against Obama, but has his staff kneecap his own VP. Shall I sing a few bars of ‘Backdoor John’ for you whizzman? Where do you go to let the RNC know that you’re not going to accept this BS?

If you are a registered Republican, you will be getting a mailing from them in a week or two asking for a donation so that they can ‘rebuild’. I’d suggest that you use the prepaid envelope that they so thoughtfully include, to let them know your feelings.

They obviously never read emails from us ‘peons’.

I don’t blame McCain for any of this. But I do think he made some very bad choices when he put his campaign staff together. If the identity of these idiots ever becomes certain, I’m pretty sure they’ll never work on a campaign again.
