The Ed Morrissey Show: Jim Geraghty
posted at 1:00 pm on November 5, 2008 by Ed Morrissey
Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), Jim Geraghty of Campaign Spot joins me for an Election Autopsy. I’m fighting a nasty head cold, but I don’t want to miss Jim’s insights on the election, polling, and the future of the GOP and the nation after last night’s historic win by Barack Obama. You won’t want to miss it, either!

Ed,
Gotta head back to work, but thanks for the optimism over the past week. A bunch of us were a little pie in the sky, but I’m sure it helped rally a few votes last night. Good luck with the show.
Here’s to taking back the House in 2010. Viva la revolution!

Man, Ed sure looked grim on Narn Ustream last night. Hotair has been a fabulous resource for election coverage. It was even right about the polling overstating the Obama lead — but we all suspected there was still a lead and last night confirmed it.

I’m just wondering if anyone in the righty blogosphere is going to come up with a strategy for combating the left-wing mainstream media and their roles in swinging elections to Democrats. I mean, isn’t this a pretty big issue that has to be dealt with to level the playing field for Republicans?

Can’t access the chat today, either here or at Ustream. I agree it was the response to the housing crisis that put the last torpedo into McCain’s campaign.

Off-topic: Kudlow’s show on CNBC has apparently been axed. It seems to have been replaced by “CNBC Reports.”
Stock market down big today. Would be very interesting to hear the perennial bull and conservative Kudlow talk about the market. Would he say it’s heading into the tank?
CNBC is hard-core on avoiding blaming Obama’s election for the stock market dip today. They are talking about anything else.
Maybe they will have to fire Kudlow, since he calls it like he sees it, and he sees in conservatively.
