It begins: Palin didn’t know Africa was a continent, claims Fox News

Via Ace, a tasty pile of shinola straight from the stovetop of disgruntled McCain staffers. It’s too cute by half, as is the detail about NAFTA; they might as well have tossed in a story about her having to guess who’s buried in Grant’s tomb. To believe it, you have to believe she figured out a way to become governor of Alaska while somehow lacking the mental power to piece together which three nations might be involved in the North American Free Trade Agreement. Diehard ‘Cuda-haters like Sullivan will, of course, be more than happy to oblige.

You’ll find another clip from Fox that aired earlier today below the Carl Cameron video. See if you can figure out the thematic link. Exit question: If she’s really this much of an abject imbecile, how did that detail manage to escape the attention of Newsweek? There’s no sign of it in their highlight reel of the dishiest dirt they learned about the campaign, a piece which actually includes a quote from another aide about “Wasilla hillbillies looting Neiman Marcus from coast to coast” as if to prove that they’re not holding back on the ‘Cuda.

Update: The plot thickens.

That brings up a good point! Why not divide up into groups and take shifts going on their sites and pulling the same crap? Why do we have to be the ones to put up with this. We are sure as hell not going to get anywhere pulling a McCain. Lets take the fight to them, worked for Bush.

Obama land

hmm …I’ve seen that. Its called ‘chicago’. Pretty much a wasteland. I’m sure he’ll do everything he can to work the same magic he worked down there and spread it across the country.

The good news is…half of the country isn’t a blue country.
The places that are run entirely by democrats are the ones suffering the most. Kinda interesting.
Just ask Calif, Mich, and Ill. (to name a but a few)
Besides..here in Tex…we don’t let hairy backed Mary’s (libs)in..but we are delighting in taking away california businesses. Bring them on down here.

It’s sad and silly that the McCain people are so wrapped up in their own egos that they cannot possibly take the blame for losing.
I think I hate these elites even more than Marxists.

Do you know, I never once considered doing that. I kind of like talking to people who think like I do, albeit with our own subtle differences. I cringed when I saw the open enrollment this close to election time. I was pretty sure what was going to happen. I was right. I just don’t feel like putting up with it for some reason.

Sheebe, that was a decent reply to my rant, and I apologize; I have had a belly-full of the repub on repub violence today, and took it out on you. Please forgive me.

However, we must learn to live with and deal graciously with each other and with the opposition if we are to remain strong and healthy as a nation, and as a conservative party. ‘Purging RINO’s is not our task. Rebuilding and re-orienting for the next fight is, and we will need new blood and new help from outside the current ranks.

End of rant.

Everyone knows that the VP does not win or lose an election. The election is won or lost by those at the top of the ticket. Always has been; always will be.

They’ll go back to quoting this political axiom after everyone forgets about this election.

McCain lost this election, and all the “blame the bottom of the ticket” mantras floating around are the paranoid fabrications of losers in denial.

Saltysam on November 6, 2008 at 1:16 AM

It’s that mental illness all liberals, progressives or whatnot seem to have. They are never happy achieving things because of goals or ideas. They must take something away from others, because they have no values of their own. They’re nihilists. So, they’ve come here to pollute the forums. Just like when they move to your quaint southern town escaping the city life. And like a plague of locusts, when the destruction has been wrought, they will pick up and move.

No, and this is still the Bushy administration. It looks like Treasury wants some Arabian money, but can only get it by playing by the Wahabi rules.

It’s amusing how some of these trolls have only chosen to come out of hiding AFTER winning the election. I guess they need to hide behind The One’s skirt in order to “argue” (a term I use VERY loosely) the issues with us. Too bad their reasoning is as empty and devoid of substance as their idol is.

Only an idiot would believe that Palin “did not understand that Africa is a continent”.

Ah ha…yeah…riiiiight. *rolls eyes*

These stoned dimwits don’t grasp even the most basic of cutthroat political ploys. (Something that most people learn in first grade on the playground…at least, we did when I was a kid)

sheebe on November 6, 2008 at 1:42 AM

I’m sure, however, these kinds of issues will pop up again, since Muslim countries have loads of oil cash, and we always want new investors. By Sharia Law, they cannot lend with interest nor earn interest from investments. The stay in compliance with some pretty interesting schemes – pretty funky, but apparently works somehow, though I cannot yet figure out why.

trailboss on November 6, 2008 at 1:46 AM

Isn’t it funny that Sarah on her way back to the frozen tundra of Alaska is answering more questions than O-B-A-M-A. BTW, whatever did happen to the answers to questions prior to the election that THE ONE said he was going to answer on the day after the election??? Managed to weasel out of that one, didn’t he? Sarah Palin is far more accessible, hmmmmmm? And they said Sarah was hiding from the press…no MSM complaints?…a tiny preview of things to come. Transparency? Press Avail Anyone?

Just for fun, Where’s Auntie? Is she going to the Inaugural in rags? Is she hidden away with uncle? How quickly we forget…except for Palin – the smokescreen -since Obamessiah is “unavailable” to talk…too busy at the gym.

Glynn on November 6, 2008 at 1:15

I agree with you, but it is not getting us anywhere. As trailboss pointed out and many others have, the Republican Party is basically in shambles, there are very few in congress with enough spine to stand on principals. It is going to take a very long time to put this party back together again. While we are trying to do this, the democrats will have a stable platform to work from. Even in their position of power, they keep sniping and attacking us. So why shouldn’t we snipe back? Its not that I don’t want an exchange of ideas and to be educated to new ones, I do. They aren’t going to let that happen. So take the fight to them, guerrilla warfare will cripple an opponent to a point he no longer wants to fight. Thats exactly what they are doing to us, just look at what this forum has become.

You may have seen this but it is worth the time.

Lots and lots, depending on how you define ‘conservative.’ Social Con, Fiscal Con, Neo Con, Hard Con or Crazy Con. We have a whole spectrum, from Rudy Con, who did the Con Con on stage, to Bobby J Con, who showed Bush Con how to run a government in an emergency.

trailboss on November 6, 2008 at 1:58 AM

I think it’s time we clean house. Many of the RINOs and “conservative elitists” walked out on true conservatism because of Obama’s pretty speaking voice, so let’s change the locks, and rebuild.

Like Rush said today, we have the playbook; we have the platform–but because of moderate to liberal repubs, we got away from strong conservative convictions. In being inclusive, we let our message be watered down and our identity blurred to becoming indecipherable.

Please, conservatives across this land and internet, let’s fight for conservatism, let’s fight for what we know is right and decent and honorable.

OK, the suspense is starting to get to me. Which one of the 57 states is Africa and did FDR make it a state in 1929?

Time for an exorcism, MB4 is starting to believe the “O”man. Oh wait, 29 is when FDR went on tv to explain about somebody’s depression or was it global warming. I’m so confused, damn hair plugs went too deep.

I think that Mark Twain wrote about how as a young boy his grandfather told him about listening to Larry King when he was a young boy.

MB4 on November 6, 2008 at 2:19 AM

Yeah, and wasn’t Larry King also in the Bible, running around with his brothers David King, and Darius King, and that Pharaoh King dude? Lotta Kings running around back then. Big family.

Nothing worth knowing can be taught by others, so look within.

I am beginning to think that Larry King may be embalmed with just some strings attached from above.

Make that Mark Levin at wabcradio.com or podcasts (mp3) etc. available at marklevinshow.com.

Fresno affiliate is KMJ 580 AM.

BTW Speaking of Bible history: Helen Thomas was of immeasurable help to Moses. The Red Sea saw her and jumped back.

There’s no sign of it in their highlight reel…

That’s because they’re not as horrendous as Fox News.

I’m already lookin out the sphincter, how much deeper can I go?

trailboss on November 6, 2008 at 2:37 AM

No amount of study of present forms of TV news would permit us to infer the existence of intelligence.
