How a Minnesota recount would work, based on my own knowledge of the state and the way Democrats work (see also Florida, 2000 and Washington State, 2004)

1. Count the ballots.
2. See who is ahead.
3. If it is the Republican candidate, search for more votes and go to step 1.
4. If it is the DFL candidate, declare a winner.

We also need to be out in front of the fairness doctrine fight. The libs are already defining the issue for us. Not good.

How does a Minnesota recount work?

1) Republicans count.

2) Dems figure out how many they need to overcome Coleman. Usually something like “Coleman + 2%”
3) Everybody submits their numbers and the state certifies that Franken is the winner.

Bank on it. Coleman is toast. He didn’t win outside the Dems’ “margin of ACORN”…

And guess what. Washington voters rewarded the woman who pulled that stunt yesterday, in a rematch. Obama’s coattails, no doubt, won her the election.

What a disastrous day.

Are you serious? The 500pt drop is 5% of the market. the market spoke today on the election results and it was not happy. Capitalism and socialism do not mix when socialism has the majority. We will never see DOw 9500 in the next 4 years…..never..

It wasn’t just the US. Markets all over the world went down. Investors all over the world know that Obama is going to be an economic disaster for the United States. Against free markets, wants to raise capital gains taxes etc.

The votes have already been cast, now.

Votes aren’t going to “flip” — new votes are going to be found, probably ballots with incompletely filled-in bubbles and the like.

I agree with you buddy. We conservatives get it. 49% (or whatever it was) get it. But in addition to posting comments on blogs, we have to get on school boards, recruit candidates, organize. Have we enough soldiers willing to fight? We will see…personally, I’m off duty until January. I’m taking a break.
