Exactly. I’m sure all the people who are upset that McCain reached across the isle to sit next to democrats – and that was bad! BAD!! … conveniently forget that time that Newt sat next to Pelosi and cuddled next to her in a loveseat. And that was okie-dokie! Go Newt the real conservative!!!

Respectfully, if Hot Air really “fell back” you’d be in Captain’s Quarters.

the market is up 200pts. that would not be happening if Obama was winning. just saying. companies with large unions are also up again would not be happening with a Obama landslide.

The market is just trying to get their buys in before Obama’s plan kicks in and there’s no electricity to run the boards.

Spread the wealth around? Not going to be a lot of wealth to spread around when all are equally poor. That is what socialism produces…equality in poverty.

Socialism and capitalism. Two distinct economic ideas. One works, and works well. The other does not work…never has worked.

At this late stage in the game anyone who cannot understand why socialism does not work, has never worked, will never work, will never understand anything at all…ever.

Either we have free markets and allow our economy to grow, or we allow the liberals to force us all into a socialist model of equality of poverty. Pretty clear choice…for anyone with a brain that is engaged.

I would just add, “predictable” reasonable price. The specter of the government injecting heavy regulation or punishments at any time will have a chilling effect on businesses. This is one of the great disadvantages of a centrally planned economy–no one knows what is going to happen next.
