These dunces elected the most liberal, least experienced person to EVER run for President.

*He broke his word on Public financing, so the ONE thing we KNOW about him is that he's not truthful. Bad start.
HUGE GOVERNMENT ON THE WAY
*african americans are promised even MORE of our money (built in voters)
*illegal aliens are promised amnesty for them and family still in mexico
*poor and illegals are promised healthcare adding 50 million people to the already full waiting rooms.
*401Ks are a thing of the past. Kiss em bye.
*Higher taxes for families earning more than <strike>$250</strike>, <strike>$200</strike>, <strike>$150</strike>, <strike>$120</strike>, <strike>$100</strike>, <strike>$75</strike>, $50,000.
*Higher Cap Gains Taxes and less business development/employment
*Stupid are shocked to find prices for goods and services are rising as corp taxes go up.
*Wants a domestic force "as strong" as our military. ACORN on roids. Great.
Other than that, I'm in a great mood this morning.

WTF?

Hillary is a PU not a PUMA. She is a tragic figure; endorsing Al Franken. Obama will kick her to the curb.

<blockquote>I never quite understood why any GOPer in his/her right mind would want to be interviewed by the wolves at the MSM.</blockquote>

The sickest thing is that Palin boosted Katie Kuran's ratings while CBS slices and dices the interview to make Palin look bad. It is like paying the enemy to destroy them. Kind of like us tax payers funding ACORN. WTF?

The Palin handlers were TOTAL IDIOTS.

<blockquote>Understand, once and for all, that the old media is part of the Democratic Party now. Ignore it. Never send Michele Bachmann onto Hardball again. Never send Sarah to play nice with Katie. We need to develop and create our own work-arounds — Fox, talk radio, NRO, etc. — and use them. Don’t play by their rules: make our own.</blockquote>

I never quite understood why any GOPer in his/her right mind would want to be interviewed by the wolves at the MSM. I'd rather see all of the GOP boycott the MSM for a good, long time. They already have their narrative on us, scripted and meme'd to death.

If I knew I wasn't welcome in some place, I'd leave, no questions asked. They don't need me, and I don't need them, either!

<blockquote>Handel, you sort of hit the nail, but it is going to be a very deep valley of darkness before we climb out. I was around during the Carter years; it was ugly.

Pelayo on November 4, 2008</blockquote>

well not exactly. I see it another way.
IF we hold on to 41 seats and keep it 'filibusterous', we only have to wait TWO years.
TWO years for the next election. The public is sooo tired of the dem congress and once they see how screwed up it WILL most definitely be with obama as dummy in chief...it will be ripe for the pickins.

The moment of regroup starts as soon as NOW, and after getting our focus back...the knives will be more than sharp.

Two years my friends..more than enough time for the dems to screw themselves and have noone to point to BUT themselves.

but...we as a country WILL hurt to...
Again..I really feel like we're going to get hit on our streets.
Thats not good...And we'll have no one to blame but ourselves. (well at least half of this country).

You know damn well that he wouldn't win five states if the majority of voters knew what Obama's really about. The only way his campaign was able to be successful was deliberately biased reporting from the mainstream media and nothing but misinformation and fuzzy promises from the Obama campaign.

My point is that we already have socialism. The only issue is how much of it do we want... Sign of the dollar says we have enough. Some say we don't have enough. Whatever the 'right' amount is, socialism is here to stay.

Plus apparently America seems to have chosen the 'marxist' in chief. So wherever we are headed, it looks like 50%+ of the people are coming along for the ride.

From "The Corner"...I think this about covers it.

Why O Why O Why [NRO Staff]

from "David Kahane's amanuensis:

    1) We got this the old-fashioned way: we earned it. The other side took the fight to us, and we never took the fight to the other side, except coyly and obliquely. That's not a mistake we should make the next time. "Honorable campaigns" are for losers. Next time, call 'em as they really are, not as you wish to see 'em.

    2) Where was Bush? Once again, and right to the bitter end, he let his passion for "loyalty" supersede what was stragetically right for the party, not to mention what was best for the country. I think his reputation has nowhere to go but down; yes, he got one big thing right,
but he got everything else wrong. Enough of this family in our
    country's politics!

    3) Good riddance to Liddy Dole, the woman who gave us the national
drinking age of 21 and a host of sozzled underage college students.
    She won't be missed.

    4) Hillary comes out smelling like a rose, plus unbloodied. She and Bill are already scoping out 2112.

    5) Time to clean house. McCain should have been president in 2000, not in 2008. No more "it's my turn" for the last loser. We need to be looking for our candidates in the ranks of returning war vets — think Eisenhower in '52 as the model — and let the Dem's shifty lawyers run the country for a couple of years. Then hit them across the board with
people who know how to lead. Gen. Petraeus might be a good place to
start. Lots of junior officers, too.

    6) You know what? McCain never did sell himself as a leader. He sold himself as a maverick.

    7) One upside: McCain/Feingold is now dead, as is public financing.
Talk about being hoist with your own petard!

    8) That Gang of 14 thing really worked out well, didn't it? Say good-bye to the courts. And we were so close...

    9) Joe Lieberman was worse than useless. When he could have made a difference, he didn't cross the aisle to caucus with the Republicans.
Now, it doesn't matter. Thanks, Joe.

    10) Age matters. McCain ran an "honorable campaign" because he never really understood in his heart that the other guy had no intention of doing so; he didn't "get" Obama's generation, or Axelrod's.. Obama would lie about public financing, "oppose" gay marriage but also oppose Prop. 8 and never see it as morally contradictory. The world that McCain understood and operated in is vanishing, and tonight is visible evidence.

    11) Unlike the Democrats, let's show some class in defeat. That doesn't mean lie down and roll over: it means fighting for what we believe in, doubly so now. But their sneering childishness is not for us; and now that they've won, they won't be able to control it even in victory. This is an unlovely party filled with unlovely people, as America's about to find out once the Obama pixie dust wears off.

    12) Understand, once and for all, that the old media is part of the Democratic Party now. Ignore it. Never send Michele Bachmann onto Hardball again. Never send Sarah to play nice with Katie. We need to develop and create our own work-arounds — Fox, talk radio, NRO, etc. — and use them. Don't play by their rules: make our own.

    11) Unlike the Democrats, let’s show some class in defeat. That doesn’t mean lie down and roll over: it means fighting for what we believe in, doubly so now. But their sneering childishness is not for us; and now that they’ve won, they won’t be able to control it even in victory. This is an unlovely party filled with unlovely people, as America’s about to find out once the Obama pixie dust wears off.

Don’t play by their rules: make our own.

<blockquote>We already have a socialist state. What do you call Medicare or welfare?

mycowardice on November 4, 2008 at 10:05 PM</blockquote>

I call it more than enough. Apparently, Obama doesn't. He wants to fundamentally change our government. Just listen to his words and look at his acts. Read his damn books. The man is a Marxist. The policies he'll implement will harm the neediest and least able - the very individuals socialists always claim to want to help! Why does he insist we need more redistribution of wealth when that is never the answer and has never been the answer.

I know the man doesn't actually give a damn about anyone. Every collectivist policy Obama, Pelosi and Reid will put in place will be done for one purpose - as an attempt to consolidate their power by destroying wealth, seizing private property and making as many people dependent on the federal government as possible.

He wants people in the middle class to remain there - or, even better, to fall to the level of the lower classes. He certainly doesn't want to elevate anyone. Those who create wealth on their own merits and produce must be vilified and punished. Government must be seen as the benefactor.

If this is their goal, I wish they'd be more honest about this and change the laws to allow one to break into homes and cars and steal property by force, or to mug people in the streets - as long as the home is worth $500,000, the car is worth $40,000, the person earns $250,000 a year and the robber has no job and produces nothing of value. Then we'd take your dear leader's flawed political philosophy as it is and REJECT it on face value!

But you'll see where this election leads us. And you won't like it when we get there.

<blockquote>Nothing changes. Obama can’t deliver on 10% of what he’s been selling. He has set himself up for an epic fail and his own people will turn on him pretty quickly. </blockquote>

Thats exactly what John Bolton is saying on the BBC. He says Obama will be discredited after one year in office.

VA- 80% in, tied at 50% but Obama now leads in the raw vote totals by 5,000 votes.

Remember that we still have absentee military ballots to be counted in Va.

Pray that you don't get to see true socialism. You are showing you ignorance thinking that we live in a socialist state. It has been being pushed that way by Bush and the democrats. An Obama presidency will just solidify it.

I for one am going to quit paying my credit and mortgage let someone richer than me foot the bill RIGHT!

Ok. Congrats to your guy is he holds on, just try to be gracious. We’re taking a beating.

If you want to gloat, do it on a lefty site please.

I am trying to be a good representative of Obama and the message of hope and change he had.

I really hope we get to achieve great things in the next four years.

I just hope your fool candidate doesn't attempt to change my free capitalistic republic into a socialistic police state. Maybe this dismantling the system from the inside crap could work in Europe, but in America there are plenty of people who will fight for their rights.

And even if you morons manage to do real harm to our country in the next two to four years, I don't think our system of government is fragile enough to keep us from using the ballot box to kick all your liberal bums out on their ass by 2012!

And this time, it won't be a stodgy old moderate eager to reach across the aisle. You'll come to regret your vote when the conservatives take over Washington and clean up the massive mess your bumbling fools will make.

I hope you get drafted when Obama's tested and we have to defend this nation and its allies.

As a trial lawyer I should be happy as a clam - everyone can sue everyone and I will probably not have to worry about my income (although I am not going to be Edwards or Baron rich) - but as an American, I am so damn sad and scared and angry. Obama! seriously????? We just got collectively punked.

<blockquote>Before going after Obama, why don’t you wait to see what he will ACTUALLY do. You guys have been complaining for months about “who is the real Obama”? Why not wait a bit before bashing him. For example, what would you say if he keeps Gates around?</blockquote> As far as I know, Gates has said he's outta there. As for the "real Obama", it says a lot that even his own followers don't have much of a clue. Understandable, since the MSM was preoccupied with trying to make Sarah Palin look like a dunce or an abuser of power.
