Round two: PA, FL, MO; Update: NBC calls Pennsylvania for Obama; Update: Fox too

No calls yet in round one as I write this. Florida and Missouri won’t be called until late, either, but if The One’s exit poll margin in Pennsylvania really is 15 points, there’s at least a chance it could go early and puncture Maverick’s balloon.
New general election updates will appear in this thread, but I’ll update the last one with results from those states as they come in.
Update: Bright and early as the clock strikes eight, NBC calls Pennsylvania for The One. Start drinking.
Update: Here’s my map from the predictions thread the other day. To get to a McCain victory, you had to flip 50 electoral votes from blue to red. Try doing it without Pennsylvania.

Update: Steve Kornacki does the math. Barring any very surprising upsets, Obama’s already banked 259 EVs. All he needs is one red state from 2004 worth 11 EVs to turn blue and he’s pretty much set.
Update: ABC also says Obama takes Pennsylvania. And, to add insult to injury, New Hampshire.
Update: Exit poll data from Florida per Marc Ambinder has Obama, amazingly, winning Hispanics by 10 points.
Update: Fox News says Obama wins Pennsylvania, too. And according to the CNN map, with 36 percent reporting, he leads in Florida by more than 200,000 votes.
Update: A McCain aide acknowledges to Ambinder that they need a miracle.

why are you watching MSNBC? just for the reassuring silkiness of keiths voice?

Tom Udall (D) has won Domenici (R)’s seat in New Mexico. Jeff Sessions (R) wins re-election in Alabama. Sen. Thad Cochran (R) wins re-election in Mississippi.
amerpundit on November 4, 2008 at 9:09 PM
I wouldn’t. Because that would mean that Al Gore would have been President on 9/11/01.
Bennett on November 4, 2008 at 9:09 PM
And now they are saying Udall has beaten Pearce(R) for Senate in NM.
But no precincts have reported yet.
Screw you FOX

I’m going to get a much needed nap, set the alarm, and come back to things in an hour or two….
Right now, I’m seeing abslolute BS on fox’s map with florida showing 18 percent ‘other’. However, if you look it is only .oo2 percent of the precincts reporting. Not enough votes are in to figure anything at this point.
I did talk with a client whose systems I was working on for a bit today.. She voted obabababa ‘we…. need… change….must …have ….change”… Her company will get screwed with forced unionization and taxes… my bet, she’s out of business 2 years into a omamamibi administration.. She’ll be scratching her head wondering why everything came unglued and why her income dropped like a freaking rock.
Oh, the money point… She said she doesn’t use her computers at home.. so… she gets all her ‘information’ from the lamestream press.
Screwit, I’m gonna get some z’s and check back in a bit.
cheers

One thing is clear at this point: The polls were wrong!!!
Obama may still win, but he is not winning by the margins the polls predicted.
In state after state, it is obvious that McCain is doing better than predicted.
The exit polls also appear to be wrong.
Until we see how McCain does in North Carolina and Florida (he has to win both to win the election), we cannot see how the race will go nationally.
But it is clear that this is no blowout as the polls had predicted.

No, if this holds, it just means its time to go to work tomorrow. There is not enough money to make good on all the candy Obama and the Dems have promised. Although it does not seem likely, one would think that being repeatedly stiffed by the Dems, folks would skip the Kool-Aid next time.

Well..freedom had a good run for 232 years…sorry it died on our watch, but we did what we all we could..the very best we could…seriously folks, tomorrow begins the era of hopenchange. There will probably never be another truly non-corrupt. free election in this country. Every non-Socialist will swim upstream against the tide of groupthink from here on out. American was an interesting experiment while it lasted. I guess humanity really does deserve what it’s weakest impulses demand. I can’t wait until the rest of the world finds out that we won’t save them from tyrants or give a damn about their personal freedoms…that we have finally become just like them.

Johnstown is full of selfish, pork hungry douchebags. This, unfortunately, isn’t a surprise. Hopefully Bill Russel will be able to run again in 2012 and finally finish off that old bastard.
If we can flip either Kanjo or Carney, I’ll be happy with the PA House raises (regardless of an Old Bastard win in Johnstown).
How pathetic are you? I normally don’t like to talk smack about the Kossacks or the DUers unless they really do something horrible. And I certainly wouldn’t troll over there on election night. You are worthless. You are dirt. And you’ll get what’s coming to you when Obama takes power. America will.

Ohio has four cities all relatively the same size and those cities tend to split each other with a bunch of other areas that either favor blue or favor red.
PA has 1 HUGE city that is always blue and a few decent size cities that are usually predominately blue. The rest of the state, even if it landslided towards McCain, wouldn’t overcome that gap.
That’s probably why they slot PA without slotting OH

We have to think of a different question for us Christians: is America our real home, or is it Heaven? Our citizenship is really in Heaven, not on Earth. The Bible makes it painfully clear.
God is our King, and His Kingdom is not of this world. America was once a “shining city on a hill”, but no longer. It is soon to become just another socialist country, just like the ones in Europe. Pilgrims left Europe to find freedom and start over here. We, today, have nowhere to go to start over.
And the next question comes here: Are we ready to confront the certainty of our beliefs when we are placed between the golden image of The One and the fiery ovens? I hope we are, because we will all be tested, sooner or later.
