I'll miss you, ManlyRash. You helped me have hope for a little while, and that's not such a bad thing.

Now to start rebuilding our movement and our country.

Will be interesting to see what the First Lady of Anger does in her new role. What projects will she take on? What will she be an advocate of? Will she be able to contain her hatred for America or will she make a horrible gaffe when she goes on her first overseas trip. She doesn't seem like the type to act classy, she is filled with too much resentment and anger.

The 2010 census is coming up and obama is planning to create new districts in democratic areas...which would give the democrats a super majority in both the house and the senate!

Combine that with all the illegal immigrants and ACORN and other fraudulent methods..

Think about it..with the redistricting and the voter fraud..this man could potentially be Dictator Supreme for the next eight years ( and if he tries to pull a Bill Clinton)...get Michelle O elected for another 8 years!

16 years in all..with a super majority in both the House and Senate!

Yes, America is finished. The Republican Party is finished.

America wouldn't survive two years under Obama's terrible policies anyway.

Even Joe Biden thinks it'd be more like six months before some major disaster happens because of obama.

Part of me wants Nebraska to come with you but I’m not done fighting for my country just yet.

It's over man.

Their America is not the America you know and love.

An islamo-marxist racist manchurian candidate is now our President.

It's time to get a coalition of states together and secede from the Union.

It's our only chance!

America lives on in my heart... even if she is dying all around me to the cheers of those who willing brought about her demise.

We just elected a man who approves of infanticide. We are the ones who have abandoned Him.

I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Choose life, then, that you and your descendants may live,

We chose poorly.

Of all the issues that I opposed Obama on, that one I think makes me the most sad for my country. This country just elected a guy who approves of sucking the brains out of a baby just inches away from taking his/her first breath.

I wonder if it'll still be above his pay grade now? Me thinks not.

Well, Looking at my County Results, at least I can stand to have to share my 'space' with most of them.
WE gave McCain 62% of our votes and 0bama only 36%
WE gave Steve Pearce(R) 61%
WE gave the Ed Tinsley(R)56%

Our Neighboring counties, to the West, where Hornet Sting lives, and all the rest to the east and south east did almost as well for the Republicans.

To the rest of the State: May you get the misery you deserve.

Hey, we are big enough and different enough politically and culturally from the rest of the state that we ought to just go ahead and split off and become either the 51st State....

Last comment, and then to bed.

McCain's biggest single mistake was to run so hard from George W. Bush. Even though Bush's approval rating was so low, and he was blamed for everything under the sun. All that was true in 2004, and Bush still won handily. Because he ran on conservative principles, even if he did compromise too much to keep liberals happy.

I'd venture to say that if Bush hadn't already had his limit of terms, he could have won re-election again. When he actually campaigns, he defends his positions well and wins elections. McCain wound up never defending conservative positions, because he was trying to distance himself from George W. Bush.

Running from Bush caused him to never stand on principles, but try to sell himself as just a better and more experienced hand at the helm. That doesn't sell.

Obama is a very sharp politician. It's impressive that he was able to hide everything negative about himself long enough to get elected. But it will be a lot harder to hide those negatives when he's president. The truth will out. It may get out before the inauguration.

Not because of any of your protests.

But if you agree her spew was hate speech, lets get that old bipartisan spirit going and you and I can protest her 3 hours on these stations.

She is everything you said Hannity was.

I hope you're ready for what you guys did to us. It's on tomorrow.

I think John McCain is a genuine American hero, and deserves honor and credit. But I think we all knew he was a problem as a candidate. In 2000, he turned on and attacked what should have been a big part of his base: the Christian Right. During the Bush Administration, he constantly undermined his president and, again, his base.

If not for the choice of Sarah Palin as VP, he would never have done as well as he did.

Voter fraud part of the big picture tonight, if Deroy Murdock's latest article is accurate - I hope they leave no stone unturned in getting to the bottom of this....

“GOP observers are calling in reports of multiple voting. People brazenly are coming in two or three times to vote,” he said, the exhaustion clear in his voice. “We may have an observer in one of every five or six precinct buildings, and they can see only so much. People are coming in where there are multiple registrations for the same address. Someone might say, ‘I’m Troy Jones at 123 Main Street,’ and then he’ll vote. Next, he will come back and say, ‘I’m Troy Jones, Jr. at 123 Main Street,’ then cast another ballot. Later on, a Troy Jones, Sr. registered at the same address gets to vote. This is why ACORN’s multiple registrations are such a problem.”

Not at the presidential level... they write the history books, and they know how important it is to avoid having the electorate look back and see *any* Democrat president as a failure or embarrassment. That's why they fought beyond the edge of reason to keep Clinton in office, instead of following the more honorable path Republicans took with Nixon. They know how much damage it did to the Republicans for a generation, to have Nixon as the poster boy for a failed presidency.

It's still routine, in a popular culture consumed largely by people born fifteen years after Watergate, to see Nixon depicted as subhuman or demonic. With Obama safely elected, and the Clintons politically neutralized, there's no reason for them to do anything but enshrine Bill Clinton as a glorious predecessor to the even more glorious Obama. They're smart enough to hold their message discipline together on their presidents. They'll have some highly entertaining and vicious squabbles for power below that level, but they'll never do anything to make any past Democrat president seem like a liability to their future goals... unlike Republicans, who were making a cottage industry out of turning on Bush for media approval while the dust was still in the air from the World Trade Center.

It looks like a huge mandate. This is a big result. I think it is great that so many Americans came out for both parties. We will see if Obama is a centrist... many people voted for him because his message was positive and centrist. He will be out on his ass in four years if he isn't. This is a great moment in American history. I thought both candidates made good speeches this evening.

It is a shame that McCain had to be so negatively affected by events that manifested beyond his control. Many of which: high gas prices, poor economy, housing slump; were directly caused by a pitiful democrat congress.

On a happier note, W’s legacy is now secure. By this time next year, even Democrats will be missing him and remembering him (or at least his tax cuts) with fondness and nostalgia.

God bless and godspeed, Mr. President.
