You appear to have things all figured out. You don’t need my help. There are so many other sincere people who actually want and need to hear the truths about creation that it is a waste of time to get distracted with scoffers like you. That would be casting my pearls before swine.

I’m not dodging anybody, especially you. You don’t really want the truth and no amount of evidence will convince those who love their sin (Hosea 4:17) and don’t want God to control their lives. When you start being honest with yourself, me, but more importantly with GOD, then I’ll be more than happy to spend some time with you, and show you that there is a great deal of scientific evidence that supports the Bible. Until then, I don’t see the point in spending what to me is valuable time answering every little hateful attack from scoffers like you when they are just like Doritos: Defend away, we’ll make more.

Even if I could prove to you God exists and He created this world just like He said He did, you even said yourself, you still don’t know if you’d follow Him… When you want the truth as opposed to asking questions just to scoff, I’d be more than happy answering this for you.

Your reply is just what I expected, evasion/dodge. I said “I might reconsider“. How can you take exception to that? People scoffed at the idea that the world was round. Reasonable people said then, I might reconsider if Columbus comes back. Coming back was proof the world was round. I am an agnostic because I can’t prove or disprove there is a creator. I have an open mind and have reconsidered and changed beliefs as facts are presented to me. Accusing me of asking questions, “just to scoff”, is not WWJD. It’s hypocritical. Even if you believe that, it is still no reason to not answer my questions. Accusing scientist you don’t know of lying, cheating, stealing, adultery, pre-marital sex, having subscriptions to Playboy/Penthouse and lust is very sanctimonious.

But if you can prove the world is only about 10,000 years old, instead of billions, proof with facts that what your reading is the literal word of God, I might reconsider.

And this really is the problem Chimpy, and why I asked you the question. Even if I could prove to you God exists and He created this world just like He said He did, you even said yourself, you still don’t know if you’d follow Him. And that’s really what this is all about. See, the reason they scoff at this Book is because of their sin, not because of their science. There is no scientific reason to reject the Bible. Truth is, they don’t like this Bible because it chaps their hide. I mean, the Book indicates, no lying, no cheating, no stealing, no adultery, no pre-marital sex, no pornography, uh, and in alot of cases that would that effect their lifestyle so they don’t wanna change. They’d have to cancel any subscriptions to Playboy or Penthouse, or something like that. In 2nd Peter chapter 3 it says, “Knowing this first, there shall come in the last days scoffers.” And it says they are going to walk after their own lusts. Never seen an acception. It’s always the case. The reason they scoff is because of their lust. You can count on it. 2nd Peter said so.

Let me ask you a something. Those other Christians, is their version the literal word of God?

Don’t you remember Dow 14,093 on 10/12/07, dropping 5642 points to close at 8451 on 10/10/08? What caused that loss?

This year on 5/2 – Dow 13058, on 9/29 – Dow 10365, a 2700 point drop before any polls were conclusive.

From 10/27 to 11/4 this year the market gained 1450 points even though almost all polls, liberal pundits and a few conservative pundits called an Obama win.

When people took profits after a 1450 gain, it’s Obama’s fault? I have a bridge for sale. Anyone interested?

I already follow the basic tenants of Jesus even though I don’t believe he was the son of God. He was a great philosopher espousing his and other peoples ideas which are just common sense rules for a civil society. But if you can prove the world is only about 10,000 years old, instead of billions, proof with facts that what your reading is the literal word of God, I might reconsider. Let me ask you a something. That’s incredibly flawed logic, Madison. As for Christians, God has not kept us in darkness. His perfect plan has been revealed (I Thessalonians 5:1-6). In fact, the very last thing Jesus instructed His followers to do was, “Go ye therefore, and TEACH ALL NATIONS, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: TEACHING THEM to observe all things WHATSOEVER I HAVE COMMANDED YOU: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20

Chimpy, that Book you’re scoffing at is gonna make a “monkey” out of you, unless you repent and do what it says. We all have knowledge of God. Creation is proof of the Creator so we are without excuse (Romans 1:20). Doesn’t matter what you believe. Doesn’t make any difference. Your judment day is coming and if you make a mistake when it comes to your eternal salvation, it’s the ultimate mistake to make, cuz your gonna lose your soul.
