McCain-Palin will win b/c of high GOP turnout and the PUMAs.

My polling place in eastern Los Angeles County was pretty busy, according to the election judges. This is my first time voting there in a Presidential general election so I have no frame of reference. I voted at an off-hour and waited about 10 minutes with about 30 people. Apparently, earlier in the morning there was a long wait which people endured in one of our very rare rain storms.

My Congressional District has a Republican, but my town is very blue (the district includes neighboring towns that are more moderate). No campaign workers for either side. Very mixed ages, races, genders. One O! sticker on one car, but otherwise no bumper stickers.

I doubt McCain will win CA but I think Proposition 8 will pass, so there will be one small victory.

Agreed with all the other high morale McCain/Palin supporters here! I’m sure we are going to win it, because Obama has just made way to many enemies of way too many groups in just the LAST TWO WEEKS if not years. And he’s going to be called on it. You can’t pander to ALL groups, saying what you want want to whoever, and expect the American people to stand for it!

Win or lose, there is a role for us to play.

I will certainly never support a socialist. I will always pray that God save this country, but I will never support socialism – be it fully fledged or not.

There’s definitely hope for McCain in Michigan. I know of at least a couple of people who were solid Dems but just couldn’t vote for Obama because of his lack of experience and trustworthiness, so they voted McCain and then Dem down the ticket. I don’t think they’ll be alone in doing that.

I voted at the green table. The other table (the orange table — the other precinct) had better election officials so their line went a lot faster. The election officials were “age segregated” — my table had young people, and the other table had old geezers.

I don’t know if that was intentional on the part of the supervisor, but they should have mixed them up — since my table’s people were the new ones, and they were winging it — learning what the geezers knew from the past.

Everything was pleasant and ordered, even if the orange guys did keep stealing green booths.

I’ll go with McCain at over 300 EV and Republicans holding or gaining seats in the House.

The astroturfed polls are about to be exposed. Obama the Marxist has unleashed conservatives willing to crawl on broken glass, PUMAs, Coal miners, Palin Moms, and a super-sized barrel of electoral WHUMPASS against him.

President-elect McCain and Vice-President-elect Sarah Palin will be gracious in victory, before they kick a$$ and take names in Washington, DC.

Mixed-race church here too, black pastor (who really IS “the best the black church has to offer”, contrary to what Obama said about Jeremiah Wright) – I am certain he will NOT be voting for Obama, and I would guess a good share of minority voters in our church would be voting for McCain, also.

It won’t matter here (Washington), but there you have it.

Prof Blather, I’m so glad my son is home from his second tour in Iraq and in three months will be discharged. At least if Obama gets in, my young man is OUT and doesn’t have to endure a CinC without a clue. And his papers will have our current president’s signature on them.
