Obama: I won’t answer questions until after the election

A profile in political courage this is not. Given his recent gaffe on redistributionism, though, it’s probably smart. ABC’s Jake Tapper tried to get Obama to talk about his plans for the economic rescue plan, but Obama refused:
JT: What would you tell your Treasury Secretary to do differently with the $700 billion?
BO: We’re on a tarmac.
JT: Why don’t you have a press conference?
BO: I will. On Wednesday.
Remember when the media screeched over Sarah Palin’s lack of press availability after the convention? Neither Obama nor Joe Biden have taken questions from the press in weeks. If Palin’s fortnight of preparation somehow revealed her unreadiness for higher office, what does this say about Barack Obama?

” There’s no way Obama can keep the lid on his birth certificate forever”
he just has to until wed.!
:-0
seriously, the whole birth thing has been outta hand for a long, long time. from most likely to least likely, here is what we will find WHEN the certif. is finally examined:
NOTHING that contradicts his original story; his parents weren’t married until after 8/4/61; his parents never actually married/dad was officially a bigamist with that marraige; bio dad is frank marshall davis; he wasn’t born in Honolulu.

I’ll admit I’m skeptical about the “born in Kenya” claim.
But it wouldn’t be enough for him to make it past Wednesday keeping this under wraps; he could not be sworn in come January if proof came out that he was born elsewhere.

Obama will only be accepting pre-approved questions from pre-selected reports.

Do not forget the Grant Park rally on Tuesday night. If it turns badly for Mr. 0, it could be a call to take it to the streets. By 11:30 pm Eastern Time, we should know what the trends are. If the Dems start the “voter fraud” mantra, it could turn ugly. Pay careful attention to what The Messiah says.
The revolutionary leftists who were in their twenties in 1968, get their inspiration from the events in Grant Park. For Ayres, Dohrn, and their fellow travellers, those were the Good Ole Days. I beleive Ayers would be pleased to see riots.

On the “tiny miracles” side…today I drove by one of the very first houses to have an Obama sign, back during the primaries even. They had several “Democrats for McCain” signs, along with all our local PA guys, out on their lawn.

We may not know for sure who won until Feb. as the Chicago Dirty tricks squad that precipitated the 2000 mess is even more energized with their own puppet on the ticket and an army of lawyers waiting in the wings backed by public financing of ACORN operatives.
McCain needs to win this thing big, else there will be appeals in every state that looks like less than 500,000 + McCain total.

Due to all the issue around the birth status of Obama, a court has ruled an individual does not have standing.
However the Electoral College does have standing since they have to certify the conformance with the requirements of the constitution and certify the state ballots they receive from each state and then cast their votes.
The can put a hold on the whole process and send a bipartisan group to examine the Vault Copy of the birth records including all supporting birth record documents.
That is the only way to fully resolve the issue since there are multiple reasons under Hawaiian Statutes for modification of a COLB and no indication on the COLB itself of which if any of the exceptions may have been a factor.

ManlyRash on November 2, 2008 at 2:35 PM
Yes, I do. And, at the risk of seeming “raaaaaaaacist”, let me explain why:
It’s all about “free stuff”. The key words here are “taxing the hell out of working Americans”. NON-working Americans, (and non-working non-Americans, for that matter), would reap the benefits of the hard work of the rest of us. For many, especially the fourth-and-fifth generation welfare recipient, that’s the only campaign promise that really matters. The rest is just a lot of information that they don’t think pertains to them.

I am 58 year old Canadian who has been watching the US election with a strange sense on Deja Vu. In 1968 I was 18 years old, young and impressionable. I supported Pierre Trudeau in that June election and have regretted it ever since. He was a demonstrable disaster for Canada in every respect. His Machiavelli impersonation, his deceit and his hidden agenda for Canada left a weakened democracy and a house divided against inself. The lack of understanding of basic economics created the seeds of massive government deficits that we wrestle with to this day. His decision to move the country to the left by assocaition with the socialist party, the NDP, and the ecomomic war declared on the West through the National Energy Program are all legacies that make me wish I had the smarts in 1968 to see through the media fog of Trudeaumania.
Here’s the deal, I believe Obama is much worse than Trudeau. His associations with known domestic terrorists and learnings from avowed marxists leave me shaking my head. The complete collapse of the media in terms of due diligence turns my stomach. The fact that the US is the world’s only superpower and the office of president will be occupied by this empty suit is sad and scary. If you are a young American and you are reading this post please do not vote with your heart like I did in 1968. Use your head and send this pretender back to Chicago.
Brian Mallard on November 2, 2008 at 2:41 PM
I agree with that even if McCain wins with 350-400 electoral votes. Queen Oprah was on her show showing her peasants how it’s done: her voting machine wouldn’t record her presidential vote. “Oh, NO!!” gaspsed her audience.
“Oh, no!!!!!!!!”

Forgiveness. It’s what Christians have for dinner.
So, make sin and be happy, for absolution can come through before passing on.
Kini on November 2, 2008 at 2:53 PM
Not quite right. A saint is a forgiven sinner. A forgiven sinner is no longer a sinner – his nature has been changed. He will still sin once in awhile but he’s no longer got the nature of sinning.
As far as the work being done through somebody, let’s look at Paul. He was an authorized executioner of the Believers. He enjoyed his work. After his Damascus Road experience, he switched sides and proceeded to write most of the books in the New Covenant (Testament).
God works through anyone He chooses and it is mostly little nobody’s who do the most good.
