Hot Air TV: Vote twice!

posted at 12:42 pm on November 2, 2008 by Michelle

Intrepid Hot Air special correspondent Jason Mattera is back. Representing ACORN’s sister organization WALNUT, Jason hit the streets to petition for the right of the oppressed to vote twice. The GAP company would approve. So did several of America’s finest citizens.

The new disenfranchisement threshhold: $75,000/year.

Thanks to camerawoman Alyssa Cordova. Here’s Part I:

So humor at the expense of stupid people is a worthy goal. Debating politics with stupid people, not so much.

Is there a way you could possibly sound less stupid? People might think we’re mean if we debate you.

So I take it you hate segments like Jay-walking or hidden camera jokes?

I think there is a place for such humor. It’s not the best, but it’s acceptable. (Obviously you should also ask people at the end for their permission to use the footage). My problem is when people seize on those clips to try to score political points.

Thanks for this! I blogged about both it and the “chump change” post on my blog. :)

Do you guys think that Obama gets to “vote twice” thanks to the HUGE money advantage he has?

mycowardice on November 2, 2008 at 12:37 PM

No, Obama will vote twice because he registered twice (and in multiple states.) He can submit his absentee ballot as MIckey Mouse (or maybe Tony Romo). The money has nothing to do with it.

That Matteras is a funny guy.

We need that kind of humor on our side too.
