The most curious item of all is that it seems like for every piece of bad news about Obama that comes to light, he seems to pick up a little in the polls. That is certainly counter-intuitive and causes me a great deal of suspicion when dealing with the polls.

And here’s the link to the polls this time in 2004. Bush had the lead in 66 polls taken since September, Kerry lead in 7 of those polls, and we had a couple of ties.

Huge difference between 2004 and 2008 and John Kerry and Barack obama
If it had not been for the meltdown in the markets Mccain would be up 10 or 12 points.
Go back to the septemeber 10th polls of this year, Mccain was threatning in Wisconsin, Minnesotta and even New Jersey.
People really do not want to vote for Obama,it just that they can’t stand Republicans

I doubt you’ll believe the data… but there it is. You might be remembering some anecdotes (and the media has a “the race is tightening” story it universally trots out around this time, no matter who’s being elected). But the numbers say otherwise.

This is the fact tomas, if you were a Republican, in the final 48 hours nothing would deter you from being the winner.
Only a loser or a troll would say that McCain cannot win. You are no fan of Palin, or McCain…yet they are the ones who are representing “your party” supposedly…but in the final 48 hours you still have to knife McCain in the back…
If you are not 100% behind the candidate at this date, if you think that Obama is the best choice, carry on…but we will call you what you are.
