Video: Whiny baby cuts and runs when reporter asks unwelcome question

posted at 9:25 pm on October 31, 2008 by Allahpundit

Via Bill Amos, yet another example of our right-wing media trying to “distract” well-meaning progressives by asking them why they’ve taken to calling their constituents cretinous racists and rednecks.

Anyone have an update on the Haditha Marine lawsuit?

Kini on October 31, 2008 at 11:59 PM

These local guys and gals are putting the Courics and Andersons to shame! It’s sort of like a grassroots movement to change the MSM!!

You go, local anchors!

PattyJ on November 1, 2008 at 12:03 AM

hahaha…what a funny guy

Mo2Do on November 1, 2008 at 12:03 AM

Please. If there is any justice in the world that corrupt old bastard will get kicked to the curb next Tuesday.

VOTE Pennsylvanians, VOTE for Russell.

Thank you, though I need to split hairs to honor those that can no longer speak. Martrydom is inherent in American conduct; sense of purpose allows a grunt to accept climbing into a watch tower he knows is targeted or a “tanker” to press schedule in spite of the IED’s that have been identified and the pilot that knows “statistics” best define the outcome of the mission assigned. All will press forward and do their best to complete the assignment. Martydom, its in the eye of the beholder.

dmann on November 1, 2008 at 12:15 AM

In other, less “poetic” words, dmann: man up, grow a pair and stop your farking sniveling.

ManlyRash on October 31, 2008 at 11:51 PM

Do you mind? There are more ways than just yours to communicate with other people.

RushBaby on November 1, 2008 at 12:19 AM

Too funny, Murtha was the one who made his own remarks a legitimate issue in the first place. He seems genuinely stunned that suddenly people are actually holding him accountable for his own thoughtless words. What a puss.

Latest on the Appeal of Chessani

Sgt Frank Wuterich is still facing Charges. He is the last one left but I cant find any stories on him other than the Military trying to sue CBS for tapes they had of him.

Hotair has past stories about this

William Amos on November 1, 2008 at 12:29 AM

Martydom, its in the eye of the beholder.

dmann on November 1, 2008 at 12:15 AM

I can’t think of a single American who has acted in warfare with the intent of becoming a martyr. Martyrdom is not part of the American spirit. Men have acted in the name of honor and self-sacrifice; they are quite different.

Actual *sniveling* types have adopted the mantle of victimhood, which is trying to poke their diseased stinking oozing nostrils under the tentflaps of America.

These are not martyrs either. They are (metaphorical) lepers.

RushBaby on November 1, 2008 at 12:29 AM

That reporter is a cold-blooded distractor!

Dusty on October 31, 2008 at 10:28 PM

LOL!

DISTRACTIST!!!

Murtha should walk out northbound in front of south bound bus.

JP1986UM on November 1, 2008 at 12:45 AM

If Murtha’s Speech sounds Familiar

Democrats wrap themselves up in their social programs as a means of defense. You cant vote them out as it threatens “their programs”

Clinton excerpt

That approach was rejected today by Republicans in the House, but I hope it will be embraced by the Senate. I hope there will be a constitutional and fair means of resolving this matter in a prompt manner.

Meanwhile, I will continue to do the work of the American people. We still, after all, have to save Social Security and Medicare for the 21st century.

We have to give all our children world-class schools. We have to pass a patients’ bill of rights. We have to make sure the economic turbulence around the world does not curb our economic opportunity here at home. We have to keep America the world’s strongest force for peace and freedom.

In short, we have a lot to do before we enter the 21st century.

Aren’t we due for another Mattera Video?

The tough part is going to be weaning his constituents off the pork barrel buffet. Murtha’s been a cash cow for Johnstown and other towns in that district, which has been economically depressed (“dying” is what the locals tell me) for years now. And it’s too bad, because they’re some of the most hospitable people you could ever meet. But if they’re going to survive in the long run, they’ve got to give this guy the heave-ho. Especially when he doesn’t see his contempt for those constituents as one of “the issues.”

manwithblackhat on November 1, 2008 at 6:29 AM

“VOTE Pennsylvanians, VOTE for Russell.”

I wrote to ACORN and asked them if they could get me registered in the 12th so I could, but I never heard back from them.

They need to finally understand that the “buffet” is the reason their town is dying. Free milk doesn’t increase the herd. It makes the farmer into a sucker.

Muuuuurrrthaaaa!

Dumb ass.

Black Adam on November 1, 2008 at 7:28 AM

Murtha was on MSNBarackC yesterday for ten minutes with Chris Matthews. The words “racists” and “rednecks” didn’t come up once. Hmmmm. Curious….

Sean68 on November 1, 2008 at 7:43 AM

Chris Matthews will be remembered as a joke. At what point does a person ask themselves, “Do I want my legacy to be that of a dishonest hack?”.

marklmail on November 1, 2008 at 8:27 AM

I hope this poor excuse of a Man gets beat! Can’t wait for Tuesday, too many wackos need to be defeated – Frankin, Murtha, etc… too Bad Pelosi seems to be a lock in San Fran.

DRod on November 1, 2008 at 8:32 AM

And in an unrelated story, we all remember how Murtha castigated the press during Sen George Allen’s campaign for his using the made up word macaca as a distraction from the real issues?
Yeah, that didn’t happen.

eaglewingz08 on November 1, 2008 at 8:37 AM

Yeah Jack Murtha, lets talk about the “real” issues,
and not about those Pa. “racist-rednecks”!!

Pope Urban II would be proud. – Bishop on October 31, 2008 at 11:02 PM
Indeed he would. As would his successor, Pope Sub-Urban IV and his successor, Pope Chevy Sub-Urban IX.

ManlyRash on October 31, 2008 at 11:05 PM

BWAhahaha.. that one was very nice. Almost made me spew coffee across my laptop.

As for Mr. Murtha, speaking on behalf of my late (Republican, former Marine) dad, you are cordially invited to kiss my royal white @$$. Individuals with your willfully blindered viewpoint are some of the ones who have gotten us into this fine mess to begin with. Gee, thanks. No, really, you’ve done enough.

grasshopper68 on November 1, 2008 at 9:18 AM

Dumbass redneck racists don’t know nuthin’ ’bout aksin the right questions….

drjohn on November 1, 2008 at 9:51 AM

“Whiny baby?”

I would’ve characterized him more as a lying snake & seditious defeat-o-crat, but I’m just silly that way…

locomotivebreath1901 on November 1, 2008 at 10:02 AM

Gee, I think Murtha is the issue.

Pelayo on November 1, 2008 at 10:26 AM

The people of Pa. need to “GET AWAY” from Murtha.
If it wasn’t so late in the election this would be a great bumper sticker for his opposition-Get Away from Murtha.

It must be every day talking points for all dems.
“Ignore any & all relevant questions-most of the media will
back you so you don’t have to worry about it”.
It’s worked for Obama so why shouldn’t it work for Murtha or any other dem?

Gulf Coast on November 1, 2008 at 11:22 AM

Retirement party for Murtha.
