Obama- we need a President, not a present.

Choose a leader.

McCain 2008.

profitsbeard on October 31, 2008 at 10:04 PM

Obama voted “present” 129 times, 3 percent of the roughly 4,000 times he voted during his 8 years in the Illinois legislature, according to factcheck.org

factcheck–isn’t that run by Anenburg?

jgapinoy on October 31, 2008 at 10:04 PM

“Green means ‘yes,’ red means ‘no,’ and yellow means you’re a chicken sh*t.”

Instead of a red Staples “Easy” button, Teh One will have a yellow button installed in the Oval Office.

Dr.Cwac.Cwac on October 31, 2008 at 10:05 PM

I’m sensing a Carter-Reagan pre-election weekend here (“too close to call!” until then). I’d be dreaming for a Carter-Reagan election result repeat. 2004 numbers would do just fine.

Mr. Rash, around these parts, yours is always the real quote o’ the day. The rest are just wannabes.

” the last thing we need in the White House, in the oval office, behind that big desk, is some chicken who wants to push this yellow button.”

awww yeaaaahhh — John B. speaking truth to power!
:-)

Buckaroo on October 31, 2008 at 10:07 PM

I agree with Rush. This feels very winnable to me. Is it likely? Maybe, maybe not, but it very much in the realm of possibility.

Spirit of 1776 on October 31, 2008 at 10:07 PM

McCain will be our President!!!
I am very excited and energized. I will go out to vote and got my family and friends to go out for McCain/Palin here in NJ.
There are a lot of democrats here who will vote for McCain.
They are closeted McCain supporters whom are afraid of being labeled ‘racists.’ They just don’t want a rookie to take the White House.

I’m flattered, but I am just a commentator. My hat’s off to Allah, Ed and Michelle. Without them, I would not be here.

Remember: friends don’t let friends vote for Obama.

Yes, just coming to post with Drudge Headline.

ZOGBY SATURDAY: McCain outpolled Obama 48% to 47% in Friday, one day, polling. He is beginning to cut into Obama’s lead among independents, is now leading among blue collar voters, has strengthened his lead among investors and among men, and is walloping Obama among NASCAR voters. Joe the Plumber may get his license after all.

Let’s see Obama kicks press off plane because they disagree with him…

calls all taxpayers selfish because they don’t want to pay taxes

says he has an ego problem

is campaigning in Iowa,

And then Zogby has mcCain up by 1 and people wonder why?

Itf this race wasn’t close there is no way Obama would be in Iowa.

Montana , AZ, ND are all fients by Obama. race will be decided in FL,PA,OH,VA possibly NC ,NH, IW, MI I think

Oh the irony. the dems that control the state wanted to make sure that voters that voted rep on national elections would not vote a straight party ticket for rep downstate. The ballot was a concience decsion by the dems to ensure their majority in state races because they were losing votes to straight party tickets in 2004 and 2000. Wouldn’t it be great if their effort gives them a defeat in the national race?

What’s crazy is Obama was up 7 in the last Zogby poll

CanadianGuy on October 31, 2008 at 10:36 PM

Frankly, that’s not the only thing lately that’s been a tad on the crazy side.

Zogby’s numbers are very volatile – his daily samples are fairly small. If all of the daily tracker pollsters shared their 1-day numbers, we’d have seen a few shocking days in the last few weeks, I think. There’s a lot of suspicion about whether he cooks his numbers a bit, and likes to leak his results in order to attract attention and remain relevant.

That said – ZOGBY IS THE WORLD’S GREATEST MOST RELIABLE POSTER EXCEPT THAT TODAY’S NUMBER UNDERESTIMATES THE MASSIVE LANDSLIDE FOR MCCAIN! WHOOPEE! 3 DAYS TO OBAMAGEDDON!

CK MacLeod on October 31, 2008 at 10:43 PM

McCain will win Cahleeforniya. Obama’s lead is so huge in this state that legions of Obama supporters won’t bother to vote while droves of conservatives will show up to the polls to restore traditional marriage. You heard the crazy guy say it here first.

Well this fat lady here is singing A Cappella at the top of her lungs right now. GO SARAH, GO JOHN!!!!!!!!!

Now here is the rub, I have a biz trip in Vermont on Monday and Tuesday. The question is, do I leave and listen to fox news on my onstar radio all night and miss the visual of colmes’ head exploding, or do I stay in the VT hotel and watch it live and try to drive back to MI with no sleep on Wed? Or better yet, go over to NH and vote a few times, claiming a residence on a park bench somewhere? Decisions, Decisions.

Listen to Fox News when you drive and pull to the side when the time comes for Colmes’ head to explode. Laugh heartily at the mental image and then continue driving. I want you home safe and in one piece to vote for McCain and Palin on November 4 and celebrate McCain’s victory that night.

Very close! Just have to take care of the hat. Maybe a turban.

thanks Manly Rush, I voted absentee (once only) 2 weeks ago. I am driving through Canada on the way back to MI from VT as it is shorter than driving around Lake Erie. Too bad it had to be this day of all days. However, we are looking to acquire a company and it was the only time everyone could get together. I won’t fly, I hate the TSA and the full planes of today with their unreliable schedules. If I didn’t have to go to FL later in the week, I would just stay an extra day and watch foxnews all night in VT at the hotel, but i have to get home to get ready to leave again (another company acquisition to check out in FL). Busy Busy times (we started a green energy company from scratch and just went public and got our trading symbol, yeehaw) And no, we are not relying on gubmint tax credits, we are growing this the old fashioned way, through smart business planning with smart people working together.

My unscientific survey here in SoCal tells me something’s happening….

I see McCain-Palin yard signs and bumper stickers, and even the areas Osama Obama should be rockin’ the vote — yes, those areas, there’s no much evidence of support for him.

I predict a closer race than expected. McCain may not get it all here in CA, but I think he’s gonna make The Messiah wet his knickers!
