I can live with that when considering his stance on other issues.
I'm tired of politicians who have a stance. I want people who take a stand.

In the light of the recent tapes that have emerged on THE ONE, Michelle Bachman only spoke the truth, but was a little ahead of the info that would solidly back her up. Or is that true?

For months most of us have been screaming on one issue or another about how Obama comes across, or has been suggesting UNAMERICAN ideas. Hello, the whole Joe the Plumber was enough for Mrs. Bachman to say THE MESSIAH was not spewing forth Americanisms when he said, "spread the wealth". I disagree with someone suggesting her views on THE MANCHILD, or what she said was equal to throwing her own self under the bus, or that she should not have said Obama was not behaving or saying things that squared with Americanism. Even if what she said was not true, last time I checked, that is covered under free speech. What happens when we do not exercise our rights to free speech because we fear it is not pc enough, or that scum like Chris Matthews is going to twist our words?

I am not from MN, have never met Mrs. Bachman, never been to MN either, but I know this woman is one of us. She should not be punished or demeaned for speaking Truth to corrupt power like the media, and to voters about the actions that Barak Hussein Obama has decided to take that in turn has given MILLIONS of people the impression he is not in the tank for America or Americans.

If you believe in free speech; GIVE THE WOMAN SOME MONEY AND YOUR SUPPORT.

Nope, she spoke the truth and psuedo-conservatives more concerned with offending their liberal friends in the green room started spouting the dishonest (lies) talking point twist. Watch the clip, if you can't see it you can consider yourself part of the aforementioned group.

NO she didn't. The Roosevelt-Dewey wing of the RNC threw her under the bus and then tried to back up over her. This is a battle for the Conservative Reagan ideology versus the Roosevelt philosophy.

Read Bennett's excellent Vol.II tome on America, the Last Great Hope.

Pawlenty is a great guy. The more I see him, the more I like him. He will be a fantastic choice for president or VP in the future.
Heck, he might have a cabinet position in a McCain administration.

Like Sarah Palin, Pawlenty has a middle-class authenticity that most politicians would kill to emulate.

But they never will be able to emulate. The difference between the true conservatives and the libtards; The true conservative can always be himself/herself and they will be respected, loved and trusted. The libtards have to spend their whole time trying to act like something they are not.

But the most important part of Pawlenty’s speech is when he talks about the nature of freedom, and how America has put its greatness at risk with its reckless spending and borrowing policies:

Dare I say "Reaganesque"? This is what Republicans need to do, to make the case for liberty, not big government, for the American "can do" spirit rather than the nanny state.
