Oh, I don’t know. I suspect that the dropping temperatures and high price of gas might have had some effect. But, that might only be a case of switching horses.

Just like all those “we hate America” parades around the world before the Iraqi war: they were just the freakin’ commie and socialist organizations using it as an excuse to bash America/capitalism.

NOTHING to do with “iraqi citizens” or “pre-emptive strikes.”

Basically a bunch of Bill Ayers people gone wild.

I counter-protested these freaks in DC a couple of times.

I was amazed at the radical groups for supposed “anti-war” reasons. The media NEVER showed the anti-Israel, anti-American, isslamofascists majority in these crowds.

It wasn’t “anti-war;” it was all an excuse to bash America.

With Obama, it’s all about the cult of personality, rather than substance or content. In this cult he should be judged by who he says he is, not by what he does, his associates, or what he’s said. Trust him because of who he says he is. If you don’t, that’s a personal affront.

Notice those subtle shifts in the air, those are average Americans, people who might have voted for Obarfa in quieter times moving, setting their minds to vote McCain. There is a lot of well-deserved bitching going-on about the media whores, but enough is slipping through the cracks to give Oborg a death by a thousand cuts.

Hell, even my neighbors who are not political are determined to vote for McCain. I’ve seen them watching the debates and listening to the news and there is a deep mistrust about a democrat who is so slick and yet so empty.

That seemed to me to be a good thing, a barrier that needed to be broken. And I think with the right person in office, it would have been a good thing – a unifying force, even if I disagreed with the man.

I don’t think so anymore. I think Obama will intentionally use his race as a bludgeoning tool, and rather than bring us together, it will divide us more sharply than ever.

Every disagreement with policy will be racist. Every statement will be dissected in a search for hidden racism.

Obama knows this – and his cynicism in exploiting it is a national nightmare. Rather than heal the racial divide, he’s ready to set us back a generation, to further his own ambitions.

This is third world stuff, becoming a nation of men, not of laws. The cult of personality of a charismatic leader. He’s a narcissist. He’ll be a disaster.
