8 p.m. ET on CBS, NBC, Fox(!), Univision, etc etc. ABC and all three cable news nets are scheduled to be Hopenchange-free, but don’t be surprised if Olby points the camera at a monitor airing the commercial and just lets it roll until 8:30. That’s pretty much all “Countdown” is anyway.
Here’s a sneak preview, in which we find The One using his “empathy” voice — quite distinct from this one — and the awkward directionless hand gestures to which we’ve become accustomed during these closing arguments. Snark away below. If you’re depressed at the sight of him momentarily taking over the airwaves, this might cheer you up.
While we wait, anyone have any song ideas for Joe Wurzelbacher? A country/western cover of “Taxman” is obligatory. What about originals? “Your Cheatin’ Clogged the Drainpipe to My Heart”?

Obama is a radical socialist demogogue. His info-commercial was one more exercise in cultivating the cult of personality that is one feature of a socialist government. Obama does not believe in the American political system and the free enterprise economic system.
John McCain will win on November 4 and by doing so, he will save America.

RE: Spread the wealth
Of the $500 million raised, how many millions were put into the pockets of The One’s cronies, (Axlerod for $20 min.) and how many millions are sitting in an account in the Grand Caymans with Barry’s name on it.
Barry and his machine wins either way. Hopefully its just money and not power over this great nation.

I honest to God cannot fathom how anyone could vote for this man. He has not done one thing in his entire professional life that could lead anyone to beleive he is ready to be President of this country. I live in Illinois and have never heard of one thing he has done for this state or for this country. Other than telling us he will fix everything and not raise our taxes (a moving target income calculation). He only gives the public PR and when he actually answers a question, his people rip apart a totally innocent man’s life and noone in his party or in the media seems to have a probem with it. How is this possible.
momof2 on October 29, 2008 at 10:17 PM
What am I missing here? I thought Fox was the conservative voice, and all I’m hearing from their “pudits” is how it’s over. I totally hate Juan Williams. I know he’s the “democrat”, but I keep remembering how soundly he trashed Obama over Rev Wright and now he’s Mr. I-love-Obama. And Bill Sammon is the most negative guy going- he NEVER takes a positive spin on anything. I don’t know how McCain can be only 3 out and they’re still so negative. Whats that about?

Speaking of PUMA’s over at Hilbuzz site I was reading a comment on the Obama audio “constitution is flawed” tapes, the poster suggested you get a loudspeaker and play them as far as you can drive.
It made me laugh because I thought of the Blues Brothers advertising their concert with the huge speak on the roof of their car.
Maybe that is what we need on election day, an army of vans with loudspeakers telling people to vote for McCain.

Here are the real money quotes from that article:
The Times could not determine their immigration status and an official at Boston City Hall said that Ms Onyango was a resident of Flaherty Way but not registered to vote on the electoral roll. However, that Ms Onyango made a contribution to the Obama campaign would indicate that she is a US citizen.
~~~
She declined to answer most other questions about her relationship with the presidential contender until after the November 4 election. “I can’t talk about it, I just pray for him, that’s all,” she said, adding: “After the 4th, I can talk to anyone.”
That reminds me, I was watching Sarah give a speech two days ago while having coffee, (the one where Tito spoke), and the crowd started a chant at one point that went, “Use your brain. Vote McCain…”
Sarah said, “That’s a good one” and smiled. I thought that chant would be all over the place and fit right in with “Drill Baby Drill” and “Mine Baby Mine”. But I haven’t heard it since.
It would make a good bumper sticker and crowd sign, though we’re getting down to the short strokes with this campaign.
Get out the racist remarks…
In the entire 27 minutes of the show there were only 20 black people shown (not including Obama, his family, or the stadium crowd shots). This has been a trend of all of his ads, he completely downplays his race while at the same time playing the race card. It’s actually pure geniues. He doesn’t want to ’scare’ white people.
Why isn’t Jesse Jackson wagind a racist jihad on the directors of Obama’s ads? He’s not representing the community in a statistically significant manner!
Off topic, but another gem of a show (Wed. 29-Oct) from Mark Levin:
On Wednesday’s Mark Levin Show: How much is your price of liberty? Is it worth the price of a government check? And how many people have died defending our Constitution and that very same liberty that the Democrats want to take away? Obama would be Jimmy Carter a 100 times worse.
Mark also asks why Obama hasn’t had a press availability in the past 6 weeks? What does he have to hide? This liberal and socialist doctrine of the social economy would be one where the distribution of wealth may be shared fully to all those who’ve contributed.
Haven’t read this thread, but listened to the $3 million commercial while standing on a stool installing a replacement light fixture in the wife’s closet.
Slickly produced, same old Obambi BS, with the obligatory hardship cases thrown in. No one can appear more moderate and reasonable than Obambi, and it looks like the American people are getting suckered in. John McCain can raise all the doubts he wants, but the sheep want to be put into a trance and led by this Pied Piper.
The fixture didn’t work. I blame Obambi.
OT–Obama at his creepiest on John Stewart. I think he tipped his hand a bit prematurely at the end of the “interview.”
He felt so non-threatened with that crowd, he totally forgot about message discipline and practically drooled about his glee at the current “crisis” giving him the only opportunity he would ever have at affecting “change” in a way not otherwise possible.
What’s that Blowhard-Pliven theory thingy again? It sure sounded like that.
