8 p.m. ET on CBS, NBC, Fox(!), Univision, etc etc. ABC and all three cable news nets are scheduled to be Hopenchange-free, but don’t be surprised if Olby points the camera at a monitor airing the commercial and just lets it roll until 8:30. That’s pretty much all “Countdown” is anyway.
Here’s a sneak preview, in which we find The One using his “empathy” voice — quite distinct from this one — and the awkward directionless hand gestures to which we’ve become accustomed during these closing arguments. Snark away below. If you’re depressed at the sight of him momentarily taking over the airwaves, this might cheer you up.
While we wait, anyone have any song ideas for Joe Wurzelbacher? A country/western cover of “Taxman” is obligatory. What about originals? “Your Cheatin’ Clogged the Drainpipe to My Heart”?

Matthews needs to get that tingle checked out. As we know from our ED commercials, tingles lasting longer than three hours may be the sign of a serious medical condition, and should be seen by a doctor immediately. Chris’ tingle is months old now.

When I was driving to work this morning, I was stunned by the shanty towns, the soup lines, the mothers pimping for their adolescent daughters in a vain attempt to buy over priced food for their starving children. This of course paled in comparison to the bombed out buildings, the rows of blighted crops and the sight of choppers circling over head. sob, It was so awful. I said to myself: Self, let’s hope that once His Highness Barack becomes Emporer for life this sad and blighted land will be transformed into a place of beauty of love. Of course we will have to send all the Republicans off to a gulag in ANWR.

If Obama loses on Nov 4 (and I really mean when he loses) he’ll do what all the other socialists do when they lose.
He’ll camp out in a park near the capitol with his sycophantic followers shouting slogans and declaring that they won’t go home until there is justice.
As it becomes more apparent that people are just humoring him and his followers, he’ll attempt to broker a power sharing arrangement, “Hey Mac! Let’s be co-presidents.”
Then….I dunno…..I’m not sure what happens to old socialists. Do they just fade away? Or do the die in a hail of shrapnel from their own poorly built pipe bombs that were intended for those that needed to be ‘re-educated’?

Totally agree with you, I don’t think there is a Whitey tape, the Whitey tape was a red herring to conceal what they really had, it is a possible reason why McCain went after the Ayers issue so much, why he kept repeating on the trail and in the debate that we need to know the full relationship, Obama has not been honest about it.
Now they play up how the L.A. Times won’t release it, and then BAM, I’m thinking a Sunday release is the best day.

I watched it and was disappointed. He was uninspiring. He didn’t make me think anything but that everything he said was a lie.
FWIW The family that worked in a factory in Louisville, KY that got laid off from a factory. They were eating out. It costs 5 or 6 times more to eat out than eat at home.
