The point is, that ad did resonate with the public; it was one of the most effective ads during the primary. It just wasn’t enough to overcome Hillary’s negatives. This is a great time for this ad to come out, and I hope it’s run continuously until every voter sees it.

He squandered over a hundred million dollars of other people’s money on a bunch of nonsense that ultimately helped no one and accomplished nothing. Probably a pretty accurate preview of what an Obama WH administration (God forbid) would be like — except that the amount of money pissed away (that’s “code” for redistributed) would be infinitely greater.

Lots of people would think it would be very cool to jump out of an airplane until the day of the jump comes and they realize they could be splattered upon the earth if it goes wrong.

I predict the largest ever percentage of people who change their mind inside the election booth this year.

As an 18 year skydiver I call “blue skies” to you, Elizabetty. I remember that first jump like it was yesterday and the fear you referenced loomed large in my mind. Surprisingly though, very few first-time jumpers chicken out once they’re in the plane. Some do slink back to their car before their jump and drive away. For me, it was about facing my fear and pushing through it to do what was right for me. It also helped to have faith that God was looking after my dumb a$$.
As for those who stand in the voting booth on that fateful day…
They are not just looking at their own mortality, but the fate of the nation and the future for their children. I believe you’re right, Elizabetty. Again, blue skies.

This is what’s wrong with early voting. It doesn’t matter what info comes out now, over 1 million people in Colorado have already voted, either early or early by mail. That’s half of the voters.

I could be wrong, but my sense is that if you’re not sure who you’re going to vote for, you don’t vote early.

(An exception might be people who can’t get off work during the week — but I’d guess they’ll vote this coming weekend, right?)

The critical voters who are still in play aren’t voting early — despite Obama’s massive effort to get them to do so.
