When I said white people always clap on the 1-3, I wasn’t making fun of Palin, I was referring to whites as a group. I could tell she tended toward the 2-4 naturally but would quickly go back to the 1-3 to blend with the crowd.

Unless Palin was going to do a Clapping 101 tutorial, she might as well go along with the group clapping. But anyway, she’s got decent rhythm from what one can tell in the video.

The only time one will see whites clapping on the 2-4 is at a rock concert and the singer is giving a visual on when to clap. Whites sometimes “get it” when forced……haha….

BTW, I’ve played in bands for 25 yrs and this has always been a white phenomenon.

And also BTW, there is no need to attempt a 1-3 vs. 2-4 battle, the 2-4 will always be overpowered in a white group. Just submit!

One cannot be wrong on a prediction until the time has passed for which it was predicted. I can’t say you are wrong about your gut feeling that Mccain will win. If he in fact doesn’t i can say you were wrong.

She clapped on two and four some of the time, and with the crowd some of the time on one and three.

Believe me, as much as my friends think I’m weird, I watch for these things (I’m an R&B singer).

And I would definitely not say she “has no rhythm”. She’s like most people…she’s got some, but it’s not the center of what she’s thinking about.

The fact she can’t pick a count and stick with it (even if it’s the wrong count, or against the crowd) tells me she has no rhythm. I am a country rhythm guitarist and I watch for these things, too. Plus she just looks so stiff and uncomfortable.

Not that any of this matters to her job as Vice President (think Cheney would be any better?), it just makes me cringe to watch it. The jeans do help, tho.

Watching Sarah America live on FOX News it is stunning to see how fluid and cogent her thoughts are and how ‘impromptu’ her delivery seems.

Seeing her continue to draw large crowds as some insinuate she might be a drag on the ticket is fairly amusing. Have they been watching Joe Biden dominate in the decatha-gaffe?

This woman enthuses people to vote for McCain. The Obama campaign has realized this and has sought to have her diminished (like they did to Hillary).

Exactly correct. But it will not be 20 million. It will be closer to 30 million and then, through family reunification, an additional 60 – 100 million.

BUT McCain will do precisely the same. Either candidate will guarantee a civil war or complete capitulation by conservatives, more likely the latter.
