That would still be one more working actor than Al Franken. But you’re wrong. Check imdb.com and you can see that Baldwin, Ratzenberger, and Jackson are all currently working. Pat Boone is probably retired, but he was obviously doing a light-hearted spoof of the famous video of himself in a swimming pool.

In fact, I believe each of those celebrities, if not exactly A-list, is still a bigger celebrity than Franken.

More important, it was fun!!

The Rock isn’t that much of a surprise, he gave a speech at the 2000 RNC. Hmm, that’s another thing he has in common with Obama, half black, good looking, speaks well, gave a convention speech, not experienced enough to be president. He’d be perfect in 2012.
