Quote of the day

“Responsible editors would be foolish not to ask themselves the bias question, especially in the closing days of an election.
But, having asked it, our sincere answer is that of the factors driving coverage of this election — and making it less enjoyable for McCain to read his daily clip file than for Obama — ideological favoritism ranks virtually nil…
If that causes skeptics to scoff, perhaps they would find it more satisfying to hear that the reason ideological bias matters so little is that other biases matter so much more.”

to paraphrase
Blogging about the Politico is a wast of 1’s and 0’s .. mostly 0’s.

What a crock of crap.
He failed to explain why the bias is worse this election than during any others.
According to his logic, biases are the same for every election. That is simply not true this year.

Maybe a little off-topic, but HillBuzz.com (a PUMA site that now supports McCain/Palin) has provided some links to this African Press International site, which has claimed for over two weeks now to have a damaging audiotape from Michelle Obama. The contents of the tape remain unknown, although they hint that there may be an issue of Obama having been adopted by Barack Obama Sr., meaning that he may be the son of another man.
According to their website, the delay in getting the tapes to Fox seems to be due to API’s concerns about lawsuits and for the safety of its leader, and just today there’s a post about the Obama campaign manager offering a $3 million bribe to API not to air the tape.
Personally, I’m not sure whether this is a potential bombshell against Obama, or a huge hoax, or a tempest in a teapot. But if it is a bombshell, time’s a wasting!!! There’s only six more days, and if Senator Obama was willing to travel to Kenya in 2006 to stir up riots for his buddy Odinga, what would a President Obama do to these API people?
As Drudge says, developing…
FWIW.

Man, what a waste of time! I wish I could have back the time it took to read that article…
One of my best friends is an anchor for a TV station, and thus a ‘journalist’. He is always telling me what moderates he and his buddys at work are, and how their personal views never cloud their work… I know that he thinks it is the truth, but I also know that he is full of sh*t. He and the others like him have been indoctrinated so well that they can not even see their bias anymore. It is absolutely impossible for a human being to be completely neutral about anything! I know that the vast majority of ‘journalists’ will vote for Obama, and that fact alone causes bias in their work, whether they see it or not.
Also- the Politico claim that Palin was barely holding her own against Biden is obviously crap! I will never be visiting their site again. That article was the last straw. What a bunch of garbage that whole thing was!
