Toledo Police have confirmed that a TPD records clerk is accused of performing an illegal search of information related to 'Joe the Plumber.' Julie McConnell, has been charged with Gross Misconduct for allegedly making an improper inquiry into a state database in search of information pertaining to Samuel Wurzelbacher on Oct. 16.

It is just a matter of time (if Obama gets elected) that the American people will have shock of the socialistic turn in the country which is drastic by the way. If you complain about your health care system, you will have a nightmare once you get that adopted in the U.S.A. Look at Canada, we only have 32 million residents and we are experiencing an inhumane waiting list and high taxes. Can you imagine what would happen considering the 300 million population, plus illegal aliens who are going to get amnesty. I do hope Americans vote for McCain before it is too late. The communists are on the march and it is very scary. Thank God in Canada at least we now have Stephen Harper who is for lower taxes and no carbon tax. God help America.

The DOJ is doing exactly the same thing they are doing about ACORN voter fraud….nothing!

The reason they are doing nothing is because they know there will be little in the way of accountability for their lack of response. Even leaders from the Republican side don’t seem to want to stir the pot. I was going to NOT vote….I’m wondering still if it is even worth my time. Hell, we have had to carry McCain through this election. No wonder he told us to “fight” in his convention speech because he apparently wasn’t going to do it.

This is blackmail on a huge scale, the government insist that our data and person records be available to them at the touch of a button, smart people resist and abuses of power like this are the reason why. The naive argue that we must do all we can to help law enforcement do there jobs but when we see this kind of abuse its clear government agencies are not to be trusted. The Founding Fathers knew this… they didn’t trust the government and THEY WERE THE GOVERNMENT !!

Happily, The Columbus (OH) Dispatch has an editorial today calling for some action. The editorial reports that there were at least four (I’d previously read three) checks for records on Joe the Plumber.
