If this doesn’t scream for term limits I don’t know what does. I think congressmen should be limited to six two year terms and senators to two six year terms. Thats a max of twelve years in Washington for either a senator or congressman. Entrenched power is the bane of democratic societies because it breeds both corruption among the political class and contempt for its citizens.
