Quite. Something tells me that even if he loses, this won’t be the last we see of Barack Obama. He likely won’t run for President again, but I don’t see him sitting back with Algor, Slick Willie, and Lurch – I mean John Kerry Who Served in VietNam – and just offering running commentary.

I am starting to believe that this is why the flat-chested Ivy League girls despise her so much. I didn’t believe it at first, but it’s getting really obvious.

They have spent their lives dismissing attractive women as bimbos, but that doesn’t work with Palin. She’s married, has five kids, a hunk husband who wins snowmobile races in the Arctic (wtf?!), a Downs Syndrome child, she’s a Governor and her constituents seem quite fond of her.

We can’t imagine the hate.

I’d have to agree with grue on this, when I was racing cars 200 mph tape (aka duct tape) came in real handy!

And its when that instinct takes over that you see just how dangerous he is. This is why you’re not seeing too much of him outside of carefully choreographed and controlled venues.

Exactly. The teleprompter is his leash. His staff is his collar. The Media is his trainer. He goes nowhere without all three, if he can help it, because to do otherwise provokes Panic Mode.

A lot of people are making the mistake of assuming that Obama is the puppet and not the puppet-master. I hate to invoke Godwin here, but von Papen and the Weimar right made that same mistake regarding Adolf Hitler. Obama is very much his own man and he does have a plan and we’re not going to like it.

Obama-sama is like a trained wolf. It has natural wit and cunning, and can be taught some tasks, but it isn’t suprisingly intelligent on its own and when instinct takes over there’s not much you can do but tug on the leash until it backs down.

Obama gets 58% of the vote per IBD/TIPP. Can someone (seriously) explain to me why he is getting so much of the Jewish vote? I’m clueless about it.

Dennis Pragar spells it out in his book “Think a Second Time”. Basically it is so entrenched in the culture, that to vote anything but democrat is all but unthinkable. Often you would have to give up your family. He explains it from his Jewish point of view. He is disheartened because the conservatives values so much mirror the Jewish values…but the are faithful to a fault to the democrat party.
I don’t get it, but then I am Irish…
