Ouch! That’s going to leave a mark. If I’m not mistaken, Limerick, wasn’t that guy in the university clock tower in Texas also a Marine? Can’t remember his name or the year. This is not to denigrate Marines. I just think it’s a more apt comparison because Oswald only had one target. Murtha has chosen to snipe at several, including his whole district.

We can hope and pray. This piece of garbage who claims to be a hero Marine – who is not fit to shine the shoes of the lowliest of the low, the basic Recruit – doesn’t deserve to represent the people of Pennsylvania. His challenger is retire marin…

As compared to the negative feedback loop we had. dow crashes, obama blames capitalism, bush mcccain. Dow falls more as McCain drops in the polls. etc

Why because they pumped $150K into the economy buying clothing?

I think the good news (polls closing) caused buying on Wall Street not the other way around. The wealthy aren’t particularly thrilled with the idea of a card-carrying socialist in office. If Obama gets elected November-January 2008 will see the biggest migration of personal wealth from the United States since the British monarch imposed taxes on his North American subjects.

It makes sense if you think about it. There are other things invovled too like short covering, oversold conditions, asian markets rebound, falling yen, people think a 41 consumer confidence is the worse that it can get and everything from here on has to be better. etc.

But we don’t care about naval grazing we care about winning the election. If Obama can say the crash was Bush’s fault we can say that the McCain surge was the cause of the rally

Whatever happens 4 November, Murtha getting his walking papers will be a bright spot in the darkness…now, if only somebody would run against “Kerosene Maxine” Waters and win….

Waters is already lacing up and getting ready for next weeks riots/victory party. Obama loses they’ll riot because whitey brought down black man (multi-racial really but that distinction only seems to matter if the candidate is Republican). If Obama wins, these same thugs will be out there rioting because the win means its time to take revenge on whites. Mark my words, cities in this nation will be on fire a week from tonight.

VFF uses a good tone in this spot. They could have really waved the bloody shirt, but instead stuck to the facts and kept the hyperbole out. “Duty and honor should always come before politics,” one veteran states, and the ad notes that Murtha used to understand that — as a former Marine himself

Much better the cooly angry vets taking a higher tone than going down the bloody shirt route. The reality is that the VFF ad is much more effective as it is than if they had really stuck it to Murtha.

So Headline: Gallup says Mccain down by 2 Dow rallies 11% on news.
