Yes, that Tito the Builder. Greeted by cheers of “Tito! Tito!” from the crowd, no less.
Quoth Palin: “Not since the Jackson Five has the name Tito been used so often.”

Awesome — hope the Reagan Democrats are paying attention to the blue collar folks supporting McCain/Palin… cause the Dems with their Hollywood-elite, Harvard pals, could care less about real American values.
Rock on Tito! Rock on Joe the Plumber!! :-)

I just wanna give Tito a big ol’ kiss! He gets what it means to be an American. Welcome, Tito! We are so glad to have you.

Having Tito is brilliant because the left will not openly go after a latino, not now at least…there’s not enough time for them to explain why he is not the ‘right kind’ of latino.
Awesomeness.

I like that guy. “When you go after Joe, you go after me.” (or something like that.)

Cool.
By the way have you ever tried Tito’s Brand Vodka? It’s from Texas and it is really good. Could be my drink of choice on election night…

My father didn’t have much money, but he always found it offensive that rich people like Bill Gates or whomever couldn’t keep their own money. For him, they earned it and should get to keep it.

Tito’s presence resonates with grateful first-gen immigrants such as myself. I think he just brought Virginia back from the brink.

I watched this Palin rally.. it was so energized! The crowd chanted ‘Get a Brain, Vote John McCain’

And his personal files at the DMV. Is his state’s attorney general a democrat? You know his entire life’s history and any dirty laundry real or fictional is about to be the lead story on CNN for the next week. Stand strong, Tito. Keep the faith, brother – we’re with you.
You have solidarity with Joe and Sarah and John. And all of us.

This is how most conservatives feel, and Liberals simply cannot comprehend it. They don’t understand why someone with less would not want to take from someone with more. Or why someone who isn’t being taxed would want to oppose a tax on someone who is and/or is making more than them. They simply cannot think beyond themselves, and whether or not they benefit.
And they call us – conservatives, capitalists, Reardens, what have you – the greedy ones.

Thats nice. In meantime at FoxNews they are officially in Obama camp. Shepard Smith is running with “divergences between Palin and her aids” and he has Politico’s Jonathan Martin to talk about it.

Watching this live on Fox earlier, I also liked the part where Palin cited others who now identify themselves with their first name and occupation like Joe the Plumber, including one Joe Mama.
Terrie on October 27, 2008 at 3:47 PM
What’s the point? The same information his here as well. Do you know how many times a day politico is linked here? We’re not in the obama camp, right? It’s not just Fox. I don’t see the problem.

welcome to America Tito, however belated it might be… glad to have you brother. and congratulations on realizing the American Dream…
-
sidebar: ad idea:
-
camera pans in to dark hut… little boy lays on straw mat on dirt floor in some third world country…
-
dream scene ensues… he’s dreaming of the “American Dream” and being an American Citizen… having a home and a family and being a star baseball player… he’s happy in his dream…
-
then the dream grows dark and turns to a nightmare when Obama turns his beloved “American Dream” into the same broken socialist oppression he’s living under currently…
-
he awakes with a simply depressed sad look… camera pans out…
-
quote on screen says… protect your freedom, little boys in third world countries don’t have any freedom….

Yes, just wait until there are multiple illegal attempts made to access his citizenship record, tax returns, professional associations.
Dissent will be crushed, for the common good of the people so that we can spread the wealth around. For each according to their need (defined by them, and God Damn Amerikkkka if you won’t pay for it).
Sorry – excuse me: I was channelling the spirit of Reverend Jerry Wright.

Don’t you wonder where all the “real working middle class Americans” are at the Obama rallys? Either he doesn’t have any middle class workers attending or they all are working for ACORN!
ctmom on October 27, 2008 at 3:49 PM
for some reason that clip brought a tear to my eye. Can anyone imagine Tito introducing Bush? this clip brings to the fore the fact that gov Palin is a woman of the people more than any I have seen. Her remark about the $35.00 wedding ring yesterday and now this. Is it any wonder that the rep elites are shaking in their shoes about Palin.

Obama 2001 clip just went over a million views. Last night it was at 12,000

Fox is a disgrace. In the tank for Obama like the rest of the networks. They have that gold audio of Obma speaking about how should we redistribute the wealth and they keep it on their web page instead of airing it every 15 minutes.
clemycali on October 27, 2008 at 3:51 PM
There are no middle class people at dem rallies. Dems represent the rich and the poor, and expect the middle class to support both.

You go Tito. I wait breathlessly to learn all the intimate details of your life because even as I type I am sure the denizens of the Kos and Huff’N'Puff are even now going through your garbage, hacking your email accounts and have their minions on the inside checking your immigration status.
Anybody want to bet we learn more in the next 24 hours about Tito then we know about Barack?
Also expect a class action lawsuit from the Jackson family for daring to invoke their name along with a cease and desist order from record producers to quit using the name Tito in any further campaign stops.

Because it’s the American Dream. He represents the American dream. Just as Joe the Plumber. And we are up against ‘God Damned America’ and ‘guilty as sin, free as a bird, ain’t this county great?!’ and ‘you know for the first time, I’m proud of my country.’ It’s these people, all different aspects of Obama and their contempt for America – versus Joe the plummer and Tito the builder. it’s the American dream, as represented by all of us.

I veiwed the orignal clip of Tito getting in the faces of the MSM, and I can’t help remembering my thoughts that this guy has his sh#t together……….. more like “Dittos…… Tito!”
Obama is out there talking like he is going to re-write the Declaration of Independence along with the Constitution of the United States…………… and Tito, another private citizen, just like “Joe the Plumber”, is saying, “Hey, get your hand out of my pocket!”
How long before Tito’s personal information is unlawfully obtained and spread to the Obama campaign and MSM?……… with no one held accountable?

You seem to be missing the point. They are trying to be scrupulously fair and politically balanced so that they have more credibility to air what the networks would rather ignore.

Kaptain Amerika on October 27, 2008 at 4:08 PM
Tito is far more of a US citizen than Barack Obama, in both word and deed.
Bet he doesn’t have to forge his papers, neither.
BKennedy on October 27, 2008 at 4:08 PM
I remember when first rev Wright tape surfaced they aired it almost every half an hour. They could do it then why they can’t do it now? I can say they don’t want to do it because they believe McCain has no chance of winning. So why not to get cosy with the new administration? They still need acreditation to the White House.

I am going to use this opportunity to go off-topic and express my opinion to both AP and Ed that David Frum (lately a routine fixture here) hasn’t been important since the day before the Bush administration canned him for putting self-aggrandizement (sp?) above professionalism. That is to say, Frum thought he was making rather than articulating policy, and he was shown the door. Not the first speechwriter to suffer this, by the way — it is one of the trap doors of the profession.
Why does HotAir give him any credence? Hey David, where’s your $450 million deal?

AZCoyote on October 27, 2008 at 4:13 PM
If McCain wins the market will be up 2,000 pts that day. It would be the largest rally in the history of the market and should be the day everyone sells at the end of it. Because regardless of who we get in there its going to be a tough 2009. If McCain wins there is a good chance we can rebound at the end of 2009 if Obama wins look for a decade of depression.
