The left are taught to use the ‘N’ word and ‘R’ words when they are loosing a conversation with rational people. They are taught using the ‘R’ and ‘N’ words switches the issue from discussion to derision (throwing a hissy fit blaming others to overcome their ineptness) to evoke vice invoke a positive result.

My apologies for thinking you were a young troll instead of an old phart like me. My youngest grand godson, a Punjabi/Bengali Indian, was born two days ago to a young family who’ve adopted us as their American grandparents. So, sorry fo being touchy, but it’s on my mind.

I was truly shocked that the story to him was the fact that the story was reported and not the actual words used by Empty Suit. truly did not see that one coming. NOT!

In my nearly 60 years I can say that I’m fortunate to have met few as dis-tasteful as you. You tout your friends as badges of honor. I never questioned whether you’re a bigot or racist yet for some reason you felt the need to fall back on “Some of my best friends are …”

Burton was successful in the sense that he cause a very large portion of the interview to be spent talking about Fox instead of Obama. The problem for Burton is he lost that battle. He was actually more successful in arguing the case for Obama, though still not believable.

Unlike some others here that are over-reacting to your comment, I will simply explain the danger of it. The right is constantly under attack by the left as being racist. The tendencies you point out yourself are an eloquent testament to this.

This article was not about race in any way. By broaching the race subject you give the left ammunition to argue that everything we discuss is tinged with racial undertones. You supply them with the club they use to beat us. I think that many here are not so pleased to be beaten by that club. So they react harshly when it is invited.

Either way, it’s funny.

How very quaint that you are the one who denigrates a human being based on his race as though it was a defencible (I’ll use your Englander spelling) argument. It’s not; it never will be.

Don’t try to play the innocent. I know what you were doing, and I’ll bet everyone with half a brain, like yours, knows what it is you’re saying as well.

I happen to have many, many friends of either mixed racial heritage or are Indians, Kenyans, Caucasions, African Americans, you name it. They’re just people to me. Not nappy headed anything.

Go home until you learn what is fit or not fit for discussion at the grownup’s table.

Yes. I see your point. And I look forward to reading your gentle admonishments to the others who have inadvertently made off-topic posts on this thread. (Just a quick look indicates there are a few, but I’m sure you already knew that and are preparing even now to set them straight.) Hopefully you can extend your supervision to all other threads here at HotAir.

So thank you for taking on this much needed and underappricated job. And thank you for correcting me. I’ve certainly learned my lesson. Perhpas you’ll be so kind as to post your Email so that we, or at least I, can get your pre-arroval as to what is and what it not “on topic” for a specific thread. It would certainly save me from much embarrasment with the added benifit that I would learn from your wisdom.

Thanks again for your vigilance. I’ll watch what I write in the future knowing that you might be lurking ready to pounce.
