Video: Biden cuts off Philly station for asking tough questions, too?

Via Breitbart, a hot tip from Philly.com’s gossip blogger. I can’t find confirmation but the detail about e-mails flooding the station does have the ring o’ Hopenchange about it.
If the interview’s archived on the CBS3 website, it’s escaped my attention. Am I missing it in my searches or did they conveniently “forget” to upload it?
Incidentally, dKos is already building a dossier on Barbara West. Did you know that her husband was once cited for not wearing his seatbelt?

Can you imagine if the McCain campaign had cut off CBS after that disastrous Couric interview with Gov. Palin? Would the media have stood for it for a moment? Of course not. They would have torn McCain and Palin a new one for being too cowardly to face the press – and they would have been justified!

Incidentally, Bill Burton was just on Cavuto. He wouldn’t shut up when Neil tried to ask him a question. Neil told him to shut the flap. Now a liberal talk show host says the station that dared ask Biden a question should be punished now and after the election.
Good Lord. Imagine for a second, if you will, that Biden and Obama had been subjected to a tenth of the scrutiny that Palin and McCain were. They’d be in straight jackets.

By the way, has everyone written Mrs. West (and possibly these folks as well) to thank them for (yes it still exists) displays of journalistic integrity?
Watched Mrs. West rake McCain over the coals earlier. The lady comes to play hard and fast, but apparently she takes on all comers.
It is nice to see it still exists.

Obama and Biden are showing themselves to enjoy “punishing the media” more than Bush was every mythologized to have done so. Obama truly IS in many ways what Bush was SAID and is SAID to be. Since the lies about Bush were generally believed, the stage is set for Obama.

We should have McCain-Palin adds highlighting:
1. All of Obama’s endorsements who seek HOPE and CHANGE with Obama’s election, including Chavez, Hamas, and the NY Times (followed by the misprepsentation of McCain’s supposed affair, Cindy, Palin etc, oh and mention the NYTs endorsement of McCain in the primary).
2. The CHANGE Obama is looking for: spread the wealth, to overcome and CHANGE obstacles in the Constitution.
3. Obama’s HOPE for the media: attack them personally and shut down media who ask tough questions.

Biden’s been telling lies so long to the people of Delaware and the US, that he doesn’t know truth from fiction. He’s used to just saying them and not being challenged.
Besides, he knows the major media won’t pick up on the story so no big deal, he can just extract 7thgrader level “revenge” on them as well. Kinda fits with the naive perspective of the Hope and Change campaign.

I remember hearing Juan Williams say once that they had to watch what they say about Barack for fear of being cut off…it surprised me then but explained a lot about their commentary at the time.

DC and national journalists want continued access, as Williams pointed out, but local journalists don’t care. What’s entertaining about this is that Delware is mostly in the Philly TV market. It’s not as if he was talking to someone in say, Florida.

The next time an anchor asks Biden a question he doesn’t like, I fully expect him to get on his cell phone, right there on the air, and instruct the campaign to buy the station with its pocket change. When it’s confirmed that they did it, he’ll look up and say, “You’re fired. How’s that for an answer?”

It would seem like prying into the personal life and trying to destroy a journalist for asking questions The One doesn’t like is a horrible idea. If these MSM reporters see their colleagues getting attacked like Joe the Plumber did, the instinct for self-preservation will kick in at some point. Good. I think most people that refuse to wear a seat belt are deep down freedom loving people that understand that the state does not have the right to protect us from ourselves. I think the seat belt laws are unconsitutional and I have yet to see my car insurance or health insurance payments come down since we passe dour seat belt law. that was the arguement was it not. give up your freedom and you will get lower bills. I have yet to see the stats that show deaths froma ccidents have come down either.
