By the way, does anyone have an example of this ever happening in a prior presidential campaign, where one of the candidates tells his followers to “get in their face” with political opponents? I can’t think of any offhand, and we’ve had some pretty rough campaigns in the past.

You’d have to be an idiot dipsh*t to believe that this meant “tacit approval” of hanging Palin in effigy or any act of violence.

I don’t have to read anything into Obama’s words about encouraging physical violence. The words themselves are quite plain.

Obama is telling his people, in effect, “Don’t just disagree respectfully and politely! Argue with them! Get in their face!”

Obama wants agressive confrontation, not just with those who are opposed to him, but with anyone who isn’t for him. Republicans and independents both, as he says himself.

No, he didn’t call for a physical attack. He’s calling for a verbal attack. And when it escalates? He’ll pretend he had nothing to do with it, because he didn’t actually call for physical confrontation.

But it will be a ridiculous and pathetic claim. Only, in your own words, “an idiot dipsh*t” wouldn’t see the connection.

As you said above, “I guess we know what you are.”
