Former DNC bigwig: Maybe the RNC wrote Barbara West’s questions for her

posted at 7:32 pm on October 27, 2008 by Allahpundit

He’s not sure. He’s just throwing the idea out there. “Airing it,” Sullivan-like, if you will. For an outright accusation you’ll have to wait until the end, when he flatly asserts that certain local news anchors are taking money under the table from the RNC. Mmmmmm, that’s good motive-questioning!

Exit question: It’s okay to accuse Obama of being a socialist so long as you don’t remind people that socialism was founded by Karl Marx? What?

Blowback

Since when?

So question are bad depending on who wrote them?

Not their content? Or their answers?

How ego-Marxist.

Yes, the RNC is EVERYWHERE. In your television, on your radio, in your crackpipe. They are there.
That’s why the JUST NOW decided to fight, right?

when he flatly asserts that certain local news anchors are taking money under the table from the RNC.

Ah yes, that’s the ONLY REASON why they would question “spreading the wealth” is closely associated with a certain Karl Marx.

I think that’s the point he was trying to make because he realized there was no serious way to dismiss the entire question.

You can put lipstick on communism but it’s still Karl Marx.

This guy’s whole argument is that we can talk about policies but we MUSTN’T NAME THEIR SOURCE. It’s sort of like saying we can put out campaign ads as long as we make sure nobody knows WHO put out the ad. Right? Because if we knew who put out the ad we might see a little bit of wolf sticking out from under the sheepskin.

The Obama campaign is so sensitive about language. Good on MM for calling them out on their “vapors.”

Obama is taking on water – but his followers WANT socialism at least the Obama voters that I know.

I dont think Joe the Plumber or this changes the poles as much as we think. This party has gone way left and most of its followers when left with it.

The BOSS has her points at hand, Mr. Brown just said, ‘it’s inappropriate to use Karl Marx.

Barack Obama IS offering socialist policies and what Marx would approve of.

Elizabetty on October 27, 2008 at 7:48 PM

So according to the Obama campaign its OK for the press to ask stupid questions like “Is Sarah Palin, Trig’s real mother?” yet they cant and shouldn’t ask questions about which political Ideology Barrack Obama subscribes to.

Sounds more like they are so used to having their butts kissed by sicophantic liberal stooges in the media that when someone actually asks them a hardball question they chuck a hissy fit.

THEY can say anything they want, and accuse us of anything

WE cannot even whisper truths without the ‘racist’ crap being thrown out at us, along with their Fake Stunned Disbelief

Obamoids are like the early Puritans, who believed that man was capable of every possible evil: that man was so weak and vulnerable that the Devil could taint and infect–and confrol–any human being without the protection of God’s grace. In the Puritan view, without God’s grace we’re all doomed and headed straight for hell

The difference is that Obamoids–while sharing the Puritan belief man’s Total Capacity for degredation and control by evil–have replaced God with government: So in their view, unless govt protects us ( unless THEY have the power of govt ), we are doomed

same fanatacism, different master

My sister sent this:

About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh , had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years earlier:

‘A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government.’

‘A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.’

‘>From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.’

‘The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years’

‘During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:

1. From bondage to spiritual faith;
2. From spiritual faith to great courage;
3. From courage to liberty;
4. From liberty to abundance;
5. From abundance to complacency;
6. From complacency to apathy;
7. From apathy to dependence;
8. From dependence back into bondage’

Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law, St. Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000 Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Democrats: 19 Republicans: 29
Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000 Republicans: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million Republicans: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Democrats: 13.2 Republicans: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: ‘In aggregate, the map of the territory Republican won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of this great country. Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare…’ Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the ‘complacency and apathy’ phase of Professor Tyler’s definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation’s population already having reached the ‘governmental dependency’ phase. ”

…………………………………
In the 2nd debate a question was asked – What can the American people do to help this nation recover from this financial mess?

John McCain basically said, “You can stop yourself from being angry when your government stops doing everything for you. You can grow up when this nation needs to wean you.”

Bingo!

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal’s and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

Just wait until Obama becomes President, the Media is in for a rude awakening.
One of the first rules of socialist rule is get rid of the press. (Putin is a good example to see how it is done.)
Obama will get out his news directly via the internet (live, weekly Obama internet broadcasts), he will have select media celebrities in his pocket and keep the press in line with his army of internet Obama enforcers.
Any media outlet that questions the One will be attacked by the Obama enforcers. Media outlets will be victims of mobbing via mass e-mails, robo-calls and hacking websites – all coordinated via the behind the scenes “Obama in 2012″ campaign committee.

The next rule is get rid of intellectuals that do not agree with the Obama socialist state plan.
All these lib intellectuals who think Obama is “cool” and for change don’t realize what change he was talking about. The lib intellectuals must change their thinking to the Obama socialist way or they will suffer. Ostracized, black listed. (We saw a warm up of this of intellectuals who did not agree with the Gore-led, global warming charade.)

I never said they weren’t crazy, Jimbo. They are. But for now, they are desperate, and acting in predictably desperate fashion. Trouble is: the genie is out of the bottle and, if the hits on Youtube are any indicator, going into viral hyperspace.

Ed’s intial post has probably been forwarded in a million e-mails by now. The Drive-Bys no longer have control of it and can only try to manage the spin. Unfortunately, the Obama campaign isn’t giving them much to work with. It will get worse tomorrow.

This revelation has thrown Obama off his game and, assuming his infomercial has not already been taped, it will come through in his performance.

The encounter with Joe the Plumber breached the hull; this latest revelation opened it wide and he’s taking on water faster than he can bail it out. He knows it and they know it.

The Drive-Bys, however, will be in denial right up until the returns start coming in.

Expect to see his poll numbers increase in the next week. Also expect to see more and more states suddenly coming in to play. The closer we draw to election day, the bolder the lies will become – all to no avail.

Obama will lose the election by an appreciable margin. That’s not an opinion. It’s a fact.

do you actually believe John and Bible Spice will win? Seriously? Really? You’re the best.
JHC on October 27, 2008 at 8:25 PM

Yes I do and yes I am. Wanna know why” Well do ya?

Because it would be cosmic justice for the assholes like you who aren’t fit to lick the moose crap off of Palin’s hunting boots, even though you think you’re witty by referring to her as “Bible Spice.”

And I’m REALLY into the cosmos lately.

Now O’Reilly is telling Barbara West how to properly ask questions.
CanadianGuy on October 27, 2008 at 8:16 PM

By asking a question and then yelling over the guest and answering it yourself?

Or by asking a question, trying to yell over the guest but getting out-yelled, then pouting and blowing off the answer with “well ok, but I think you’re wrong?”

Pride and Ego my lads, Pride and Ego, its what makes Bill O’Reilly’s world go round.

His pride wont let him admit that he was rolled by Obama, and his ego prevents him from from doubling down and taking another shot at going after the guy.

Karl Marx? Marxism?

Maybe they don’t want us to read about him and understand why Saul Alinsky dedicated his book to Lucifer.

Exactly! I was going to say that earlier. That is so true.
Michelle is brilliant! I have admiration for her. Chew them up good!

Jefferson once said that he preferred newspapers without a government, over a government without newspapers. Contrast that with there being some questions reporters shouldn’t be able to ask.

Uh-huh.
