Went through such a scenario this past summer. I felt we were doomed all spring and summer and when I thought all hope was lost (after spending a dreadful summer just agonizing over what I thought was certain defeat), BOOM! Victory was ours. Hopefully the same is true with McCain-Palin!

Joe had not really received any personal attention until that point. But McCain ensured that he got tons by using him left and right.

On top of that, McCain lied. Joe was never going to pay higher taxes with Obama’s plan. McCain knew that, but still decided to go ahead because it made for great TV. Kudos to McCain.

I think two things have really hurt O. The first is how the fangs, claws and hate of the Left and the MSM came out after Palin was picked as Mac’s running mate. The second is how O goes after anyone who points out his flaws. He has let his surrogates go after Joe the plumber in a way that scared a lot of people, his minions go after radio and t.v. stations either by trying to shut them down with noise or the attorneys. Do you own a business?

Do you have employees?

Do you have any overhead, i.e inventory, a data base, trucks, shipping material, phones, computers, an alarm system, uniforms, insurance, human resources, 401K plans, loans, lights, heat, a building with parking, landscaping, advertisement and marketing, business partners, lawyers, accountants, business licences, taxes, fees, and everyday expenses?

Do you want the best return on your investment and time and money?

Do you want provide a better life for your family than maybe you have had, and have worked hard in order to do it?

Do you want to leave behind your life’s work to your children so they don’t have to start at the bottom and can grow on your teaching, love, and hard work?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, Obama will tax you, McCain will let you keep the reward of your hard work to invest in your future and that of your family’s.

If you answered “no”, then you are an idiot with his hand out, sleeping in until noon, waiting for the check to go cash, complain, then hang out on the corner with a “forty” in your hand…………

Why work, if you don’t have to?

See that’s the whole point. McCain couldn’t create such a person because they don’t exist. A small (and by small I mean really small) number of small businesses make 250k after expenses. If JTP could afford that kind of business, it would cost him millions of dollars. These cases are far and few. The bulk of the cases are exactly like Joe’s except that they will get more tax cuts under Obama’s plan. McCain’s use of Joe was all smoke and mirrors.
