Each question is funnier than the last, culminating with, “Are you forewarning Americans that nothing will be done and that America’s days as the world’s leading power are over?” As if he might say, “Sure.” She probably figured she was in for the same old talking points everyone’s heard from both sides umpteen thousand times by now, so she might as well shoot for viral video immortality by making him squirm. Mission accomplished. On to the petty campaign revenge!
Oh, his claim that Team Barry hasn’t paid a penny to ACORN for GOTV efforts? Highly nuanced.

I got about half way through that interview and gave up. All she was doing was reading questions and letting him respond with howlers, then not following up.
They were good questions, but pointless if you don’t engage and challenge his responses.
E.g., on ‘tax cuts for the middle class’: If someone doesn’t pay taxes, and you give them a check, THAT’S redistribution. Instead she robotically went on to the next question.
What a travesty this election has become.

Let’s see: in Chicago, The New Party, a Socialist party, identified Obama as one of their own when he won his state senate seat. Obama has won the official presidential endorsement of The Communist Party, USA. Obama’s childhood mentor was infamous Communist Frank Marshall Davis. One of Obama’s longtime associates and benefactors is self-described “radical communist” William Ayers. Obama’s wife told crowds that Obama was going to see to it that Americans with too big a slice of the pie would have to be sharing their piece of the pie. Obama himself told a plumber that he wants to use tax increases to “spread the wealth around.”
But it’s somehow a slander for a reporter to associate Obama with Socialism? Give me a break. Obama has associated himself with Socialism. If it walks like a Socialist and talks like a Socialist and votes for tax increases like a Socialist, it’s a Socialist. Who are these people trying to con? Oh wait, we know the answer to that: they’re trying to con the American electorate.

I agree – the reporter should have been a moderator during the debates. Unfortunately I don’t see her having much of a career in the current MSM – which is sad for the MSM.

Does anyone know anyone else who lies and distorts the truth as much as Obama and Biden and their supporters, such as MSNBC, NYT, and others?
Acorn did not receive one single penny from the Obama campaign? LIE!!!!! $800,000, minimum, came from the Obama campaign.

Biden also lied about his statement about Obama being tested. Biden CLEARLY referred to Obama himself, and no one else. Biden also did declare, earlier, during the primaries, the Obama is inexperienced and that he would be dangerous. Now he is singing a different tune and expects everyone to contract amnesia and belief what he is saying now. LIAR!!!!!
Biden’s demeanor was that of arrogance, rudeness, condescension, pomposity, disingenuous, and dishonesty. I also detected misogyny in his manner of addressing the female host. But what else is new? Look at the treatment of Sarah Palin by Obama’s little soldiers.
Obama is a charlatan and phony, a cardboard cut out in a suit with a voice recording playing for the public to hear, and Biden is an individual with neurological problems, as he frequently “Misspeaks” then can’t remember what he said, and makes up something completely different and argues on that, rather than his original statements.
This election cycle is rife with malevolence, distortions, racism, bigotry, misogyny, and lies, on the part of Obama, Biden, and their supporters. It is sickening, and it is destructive to our freedoms, liberties, and sovereignty.
Obama’s minions are out there cheating, polluting the voting process, stuffing the ballot, spreading the seeds of hatred and lies, and this brash, arrogant blow hard, Biden, is openly lying and getting a pass from the press.
What ever happened to civility, honesty, and fairness?

Ummm..I’m pretty sure 5 was pointing out the injustice of Obama filing an FEC claim against McCain when his own campaign has committed gross campaign finance malfeasance that is going unreported by the MSM. Maybe I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure that was the point.

That the senator was being a cad throughout the interview, was all the more reason for the interviewer to come back with some “back at ya” follow-throughs. He was misrepresenting himself on ACORN, the question of income redistribution (inasmuch as Obama said those things with the cameras running), and the thing about Obama being tested. That’s just off the top of my head.
The guy was acting like a cocky little jerk. How did this man get as far as he did?

I hear what you guys are saying about her not asking follow-up questions, but I think we have to give her the benefit of the doubt.
#1) She may not have had the time, since she has some great questions, as it was.

Being from Orlando, I am embarrassed to admit that I didn’t even know about Barbara’s interview until earlier this afternoon. I don’t make it a habit of watching Channel 9 – but I will now.
Barbara has never come across as very animated before – just straight down the middle, no ruffling of feathers…… but then BAM!
For all the whackos now posting to the WFTV web site, they make it sound like no one in the general public has been begging for these questions to be asked. Just FOX news. Yeah, right.
On a good note – when the dems put the fairness doctrine back up, maybe they will go after some local tv stations now.

Looks like it is kind of like I thought. She didn’t ask follow up questions because she only had four minutes of satelite time and had to cram in her main questions.
Don’t think she will get the chance to do any follow up questions in the future, however.
