You are absolutely right and the media right on cue confirms they are not doing their job by their coverage of this interview.

Rule No. 1 is try not to appear in any DNC Obama media. They will try to set up any candidate so they can destroy them one by one. Ignore them. Appear on Fox News or talk radio. I don’t understand why The GOP does not learn anything. Remember how they portrayed Sarah Palin! That is exactly their agenda and I wish and hope that the RNC start using their head.

Mariloubaker, you forget too soon. The republican leader Gorge W. Boosh, who BTY could not lead a fly to horse poop, is a crossover, remember when he and Kennedy backed the education bill, only to have Kennedy back stab him. Did he learn anything, Nope! That is the leader of the party.

I agree. I pointed out how wrong he was within minutes of him posting. It’s amazing that anyone could actually watch the clip and then spout the democrat talking points about it as Ed did in his post. He even claimed to be a freind of hers.

The DCCC has decided to sink money into the Sixth CD at the same time that the NRCC had to pull out to conserve resources for closer races.

The NRCC HAD to pull out.. to CONSERVE RESOURCES.. for closer races. Because of lack of money.. from people just like those here who assume the GOP abandoned Rep. Bachmann. (Which they did not do as I posted earlier.)

Ed didn’t say the NRCC had pulled their support of Bachmann because of her comments that were twisted by the Chris Matthews.. left wing et al!

What is disheartening about some of the commenters here at HA is their willingness to jump on the anti-RNC/GOP bandwagon. I suggest you get involved in your local GOP organizations to become better informed about what we stand for, what we stand against and what we support.

Ed’s lack of clarification of WHY the NRCC had pulled back PREVIOUS to the remarks by BACHMANN is not an EXCUSE for you to be ill informed about the facts.

My explanation follows:

The America of the founders was based on a very limited federal government. Freedoms for individuals and restrictions on Federal power were spelled out in the Bill of Rights.

The American values are self-motivation, self-reliance, fierce independence, personal betterment, personal resposibility, hard work and risk taking. Success and failure, followed by getting back up and trying again.

Our culture was built upon the concept that success was possible for all Americans regardless of a race, religion, sex or creed. And as Jefferson said, the “government that governs least, governs best”.

These are the characteristics that made the United States great – they were also the values and culture that our country lived by.

For the last 75 years, there has been an effort to redefine America into heavy-handed federally-governed socialist state – the first phase evidenced by FDRs over-reaching federal government powers, and a second phase followed by Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society programs. The liberal education establishment as well as the expanding welfare state and activist courts have eroded these basic values that made America great.

We now stand on the edge of the third phase – an edge of another thrust by a socialist President, combined with a socialist dominated Senate and House which threaten to further erode the values that made the United States great and to reduce each individual’s freedoms of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

And that is truly Anti-American and must be stopped with all our efforts.

I want you to know that I contributed to Michele’s campaign already….shortly after you mis-characterized Michele’s (your “friends”) words in a previous post.

Ed misinterpreted Michele’s comments on Hardball by associating it with the former “Congressional Investigation on Anti-American Activities.”

In so doing, Ed, perhaps inadvertently, was picked up by liberal blogs and the press who were assured they found a conservative who was turning on Michele. Nice job, Ed.

I feel sorry for Michele to have a “friend” like Ed.

It is only going to get worse…in a few years she will be fined for what she said.

Tell that to Ed. He thinks the democrats are good Americans who just have a different philosophy about what’s right for America. They do have a different philosophy, it’s called fascism.

She didn’t say anything wrong. It’s a shame there are so many weak, psuedo-conservatives out there ready to roll over for the left so as not to offend anyone and I don’t mean Rep. Bachmann. She should have been advised to go on the attack instead of apologizing for telling the truth. That’s what Americans’ want to see and it works for conservatives and republicans every time. These people are using government resources to go after Joe the Plumber and are using government intimidation in Missouri. They are un-American. She was absolutely right in what she said on hardball and you are wrong to twist her words and act as a surrogate for the left, Ed.

Since you do not provide an email at which I would correct the record, I sent an email to Malkin hoping you would correct your mis-characterization.

If you are a man, you will provide an outlet for people to communicate directly with you. My only assumption right now is that you are less than a man.

Senator Jim Bunning actually opposed this Government Socialist action, and has stood against other offensive government practices.

Jim Bunning was one of my childhood-teen years heroes, as I was a huge baseball fan, and player, who LOVED Jim Bunning as a Philadelphia Phillie and Pitcher (along with Johnny Callison, Chris Short, Tony Taylor, and other great Phillies from the 1960s/1964 team which almost won the pennant, and Sandy Koulfax Pitcher, LA Dodgers, Willie Mays – Center Fielder, SF Giants, Henry Aaron – Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves, etc., among the greatest players of all time).

In this time when so many so-called conservatives aren’t, and when our nation seems under the sleep of some form of darkness, siding with the likes of Socialists-leftists-liberals like Obama and his associates, it is wonderful to have a few remaining strong conservatives like Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin, and Jim Bunning.

Kudos to Jim Bunning!

I say that is long overdue. Some of them are pretty “thick” with hostile Government leaders, from what I can tell.

If I am incorrect, then an investigation will clear that up.

Trust me, if the Dems win in a couple of weeks, all KINDS of Republicans and conservatives are going to be Congressionally investigated… perhaps even the likes of Michelle Malkin and Ed Morrissey.
