But, I’d expect Wall Street to be holding its collective breath for now. No huge movements in the next two weeks.

When they find out whether next year’s Capital Gains tax is going to be going way up or perhaps going down (i.e. when they find out who wins the Presidency) THEN there will be a big move, one way or the other.

Here in Colorado I had my training to be a poll watcher. The room was packed with volunteers, totally packed, and this is in Boulder County which is so liberal you can get high just taking the city bus. The turnout on the Republican side is going to be huge.

I predict the tolling of the bell marking the end of Obama will be when Maine goes for McCain on election night.

I spent my freshman,soph, and jr. year living in Lake Hills Estates, right across from El Dorado Hills. (a hundred yds. from Folsom Lake. Went to Ponderosa and left in 69 to move north to Eureka. Ernie over at the “door-stop” is still like family.

If Philly comes in with 120% of the population for Barry, there is gonna be hell to pay.

I dunno…I believe the “base” would still be for McCain when polled. And the Mav would certainly have more support from independents and undecideds. I do agree tho that Crist must have some “Baggage” that became evident during the vetting process.

I don’t know your age, but if you’d seen the caliber of players the Colts had that year, it should have been like the Pats in their peak playin’ against a division three college team. The Colts were over-confident, just like the liberals and Obama.

I wish McCain and Palin were screaming this at the top of their lungs. A problem, however, is that too many in the country are financially illiterate. That’s how the Democrats so easily screwed up with Fannie and Freddie. And yet McCain seems too stupid to turn this on the Dems. I think he sunk his own ship with his idiotic instincts to be bipartisan when the sh*t hit the fan.

Unfortunately, McCain needs more than just Pennsylvania to win. I’ll still say, Gov. Crist would have put Florida solidly in McCain’s side.
